I'm a fairly new fanfic writer - the Witcher is actually my first fandom! I've been reading fanfiction for a long time, but nothing inspired me to write it until I got interested in geraskier. This big bang will be one of my longest completed fics, since normally I focus on small pieces, so I'm very excited to be working on this project! I chose to feature Vivre d’amour because it was one of my earliest fics that I'm still very proud of, and it's one of my most popular. I also feel like it has a similar mood to the fic I'm working on for BB!

I've been writing for nearly 20 years, but only started sharing my writing last year after binge watching The Witcher. I mostly write AUs with lots of pining, banter, and angst with a happy ending.

I've been writing in one fandom or another for just about 20 years now, and in this fandom in particular for just over a year. I write a wide variety of things, but if I had to distill everything down, whether it's fluffy or tragic, it's generally very emotionally driven. I like subverting tropes and I LOVE messy character dynamics, which is why I chose to share this particular fic. One of the things I most treasure in fandom is the sense of community, and I hope co-modding this event shares that feeling with others too!

Hi! Even though I've been in fandom for (checks notes) 15 years, I've been a sporadic fic writer at best until this past year, when I had the time to really put effort toward being a writer. This event is my first big bang as a participant instead of just a reader! I've linked my fic "another dawn", which is a time loop fic loosely based on the Mystery Spot episode of Supernatural (which is to say: temporary character death, but a happy ending). It was my second fic in this fandom, and I'm very fond of it. I love to mix angst, humor, and fluff in my writing. I think "another dawn" has a decent mix of those things--and my bang fic will, too, hopefully :)

I started writing fanfiction around 1998, and I never really stopped. Writing has been my main form of artistic expression since then, and even though my fandoms have changed wildly over the years, all of the characters I have written about hold a special place in my heart. Let Nothing You Dismay was SUCH a blast to write. It was a really fun challenge to put Geralt and Jaskier in a modern setting, add a level of playful rom-com silliness, and still keep them true to themselves. I also had a great time collaborating with the artist, and overall it came out just how I wanted it to. I'm a relatively new writer, and I'm so thankful for the Witcher fandom and events like these that have helped me find my writing voice. It’s why I decided to co-mod this one! :)
