Your Ned and Goodsir art is so cute, even if Ned isn't feeling very good about the whole doctor thing...

It also made me think who would be a good playmate for Goodsir and I have a few options :

- Morfin ! I think he would like to have someone take care of him, even if it's just playing pretend

- Collins, he doesn't like when Goodsir goes into too dark stuff, but will happily pretend to hurt his leg or have a cold so Goodsir can take care of him :)

- Graham is really afraid of medical stuff (because of trauma caused by the tunnbaq attack/whatever the equivalent is in a modern AU), but Goodsir loves to play with animals ! So he'll try to train him and teach him tricks. He is surprisingly good at it. (Goodsir also tries to teach Tozer tricks when he's in a puppy mood, but he isn't a good student >:( He keeps getting distracted)

Oh, maybe if Harry gets the right type of treat, Sol will learn better. Maybe Heather has tips to share, even. I think otherwise he'd be good at listening and following orders, he just doesn't have the attention span for new ones, definitely not from Goodsir, not when he gives him dry crackers as treats smh 😞

Graham is fine with pets and praise as reward I think.

The idea of Neil is veeeeeeeeery slowly growing on me. What if he has the chance to be a real asshole kid and is surprisingly kind and everyone is just shocked while McDonald is like “I told you he could be good!”

Maybe Graham falls and hurts his ankle and Neil runs to get help, or Tommy Armitage’s hearing aids die and Neil holds his hand and helps him find Heather, or one of the bigger kids has an accident and is upset and embarrassed and Neil gets bossy and tells everyone else to go away and have someone find an adult and stays by their side until their caregiver comes to help them get cleaned up.

He can be really sweet! I think it'd get better over time. And also depends a lot on how he wakes up in the morning or how he feels overall but yeah! Sweet boy ^_^

Here's the fic I promised, but it is very tiny im sorry. I do want to return to this idea though - of Neil trying his best to help other littles. I love it, he's so cute (≧ω≦)

The day at the park went by slowly for Alex. He didn't have much work. Nothing bad happened, nobody got hurt... Until Graham had a minor fall. Nothing some spray silver or a bandaid can't fix, but a fall nonetheless.

He heard the quiet yelp and thud from afar and walked towards it right away.

Neil came running towards him. "Alex," he said, brushing unruly hair out of his face. "Alex," he said louder, thinking he hadn't noticed him.

"Yes, I'm here, what happened?"

"Graham fell." He pointed to the other little, who was sitting a few meters away, on the ground, legs sprawled over the grass.

"I'm okay," Graham insisted, but the sniffing and the red and dirt-brown spots on his knees told a different story. "I'm okay."

"No," Neil stated and frowned. "Not okay. There's blood all over." Then he turned to McDonald again. "Alex, can you help?"

He smiled. He has a backpack prepared just for such cases. "Of course I can help."

Neil immediately nodded and ran back over to Graham. "See? He can help!"

"I'm okay, though..." Graham repeated, voice softer. Smaller.

"No no." Neil shook his head and took Graham's hand in both of his. "You're hurt. Alex will make it better."

Graham stared off to the side, refusing to look at either of them. "I don't know..."

Neil stayed silent for a moment. Alex only watched him - it was clear that Neil was about to say something and he didn't want to interrupt. "I can get uncle Ross, should I get uncle Ross?"

Graham nodded.

"Okay!" And off he went. Alex didn't even have time to stop him and tell him he has Ross's phone number. Oh well, he'll probably find him quickly. The park is small, after all.

Ned is obviously pants-wetting baby #1 but who else do you imagine would end up having accidents and getting diapered by the ship’s surgeons at some point during the voyage?

I think Henry Collins is absolutely wetting the bed after his venture into the water. He’s progressively seen getting more traumatized as time goes on and the worse his untreated victorian era PTSD is the more often he’s found staring off into space with wet pants until the docs take him under their wing.

Johnny isn’t great at staying dry while small but has no issues when he’s big and that’s a source of embarrassment for Ned. His bed is never dry and he’s upset that Johnny who’s littler than him isn’t having accidents as often as he is.

Tozer does well with Heather because he takes Sol to go potty every few hours and really that’s all he needs to keep dry. If Sol is little with Hickey it’s a totally different story, Hickey isn’t reminding him to go pee and won’t hold his hand to walk to the seat when he’s scared that the Tunbaaq might be out there so Sol just keeps having accidents and getting left in his itchy wet pants until someone takes pity on him and helps get him changed.

Graham doesn’t have accidents because he’s too little but he will pee his pants rather than stop playing and Dundy has to physically stop his games at times and ensure he goes to the bathroom or he’ll wet himself rather than pausing for even a moment. If his caregiver isn’t paying attention there’s a not-small chance that he’ll end up sitting in a puddle because he was having too much fun and couldn’t hold it anymore.

So unfair not even Johnny has that much of a problem staying dry >:'( poor Ned..

Henry would go all or nothing. He's either dry most of the day, diligently going potty as supposed to and then he has the moments like you said, where he just... turns off. He can mostly be left alone - doesn't cause any trouble for himself nor others - except for these moments. So they check on him regularly, so he doesn't sit in the cold in case he does wet pants.

Noooo, Sol, baby 😭😭 Hickey will get distracted by something and leave the poor lad playing on the ground and.. forget about him for a while. And by the time he looks back Sol is squirming sitting in a little pool. Even if Sol announces that he needs to go, Hickey might wave at him to just go. But Sol is scared and the bathroom is up a set of stairs and they're scary so he just sits there. Until it's too late to even get up.

I relate to Graham so hard, though jhajxkkxks sometimes whatever is in front of you overweighs the need to go... (need to say i never soiled myself though. Bad Graham!) I also think he might sometimes leak from excitement. The combination of let's say Visitors and Full Bladder is not very fortunate.

I also wish to add Chas Des Voeux! He has perfect controll over his bladder, but he would pee his pants as a sign of protest. "You want me to take a nap?? But I don't want to! You can't make me." "Charlie, please-" *quiet trickling* then Charles whispers, grinning like cheshire cat "can't put me down for a nap if my pants are wet"

Re : your drawing of Jopson fixing Ned's plush

What if it was one of the puppy (Sol or Graham or any other character who is puppy) who accidentally damaged Ned's plush ? They get told off by JFJ for making Ned cry, but then Ned feel bad that they got punished because of him :(

(and Jopson took care of his plushie very well so it was fine actually)

Maybe Ned ends up asking Jopson to make one to gift them !

(only downside is that Graham chews everything and Crozier has to get him toys so he doesn't chew on Ned's)

OMG ?! 😭😭😭 I love it so much, i already read it like 5 or 6 times because of how good it is !! Crozier comforting Ned is so cute, I love seeing him being a good dad. I also want to kiss Ned's forehead to make him feel better 🥺

And Graham made me so sad :( He feels so bad about the whole situation. Crozier calling him a good boy and him saying "no" broke my heart 😔😔 Someone please hug him and pet his head..... (also love the fact that Dundy is the one to take care of him 💛)
