With the summer holidays almost upon us I am sure I am not the only Mum looking for ideas to keep my children busy.

Ben and Holly have come to the rescue with seven weeks worth of activities for you to print out at home and complete with your children so that they can become a ‘Little Explorer’. 

The first week began on Monday with insect themed activities for you to print off.  You can find all of the activity sheets on the Ben and Holly website here.

We have had a sneak peek at all of the activities to come and I can already see lots of things to keep both of the Little A’s busy including ‘spotter sheets’ that we can take out on a nature walk, colouring and lots of fun and easy makes including pebble insects and a gorgeous fairy den which I will definitely be making with Little Miss A for the garden.

Each week a different set of activity sheets will be available online.  The themes for each week are…

13th July – Insects

20th July – Trees and Toadstools

27th July – Flowers

3rd August – Birds

10th August – Animals

17th August – Fruit and Vegetables

24th August – Elves and Fairies

Even if your child isn’t a big Ben and Holly fan there are still some great activity ideas.  I particularly like the spotter sheets and Little Miss A and I have been keeping an eye out for the insects in this weeks activity pack on the school runs.  We have spotted lots of bees, butterflies and snails so far!

With the activity sheets, each week you can also print off a fun certificate for your child once they have completed all of the tasks.
