even though it's not Perfect, i'm so happy with how much i'd fixed my sleep schedule. i used to go to bed 5am the earliest on non work days and woke up like.... 2pm. and most of my day was gone.

but now i'm going to sleep like 1am the earliest and waking up 10am, maybe 11am the latest on non work days.

So happy to be home, where the water runs rusty brown and I can kiss my wife at my leisure.

this last week or two i went on a pretty deep dive into my swing music interests. lots of cab calloway, which snowballed into so much.

perused some of his AND jonah jones' music, one of his lead trumpet players, to my library to later find out the two had such a heated argument that jonah stabbed cab in the leg fjskf mom holy fuck

along with finding out cab was the voice AND the reference rotoscoped in that betty boop animation. you know. saint james infirmary... that song from that spooky retelling of snow white in glorious, glorious 30s rubber hose animation.

all of these things are very worth a youtube/google trip im thriving
