Song review: Little Traps Band: Aurora (https://www.facebook.com/aur0rama) Location: Boston, MA  Date of Release: October 2012 Genre: Wishes they were Saosin  Reviewer: Golden Eagle http://aurorama.bandcamp.com/track/little-traps I’m trying to get past these vocals. I really am. Like I love Saosin. Saosin’s vocals on the first album and EP were perfection. I imagine that it was this perfection that this band was trying to capture. But honestly, this bands vocalist sounds like they were at the end of the day of Australian Idol auditions when the judges are through with everyone's shit and just seemed like those guys that thought they were better than they were. Don’t get me wrong, This is in no way terrible. He just overpowers a lot of the music in this song which makes it hard for me to give a fair review of this song. Honestly a lot of the guitar work in this song sounds pretty fucking cool. But it stays in two chords throughout the entire 4:34 duration of this song. I literally cannot give this song a good review. It stays in two chords which takes until 2:18 to get somewhat interesting. Seriously guys. I wanna like you. I really do. But to take until 2:18 to get even slightly interesting? Shit, that just ain’t worth it. Vocals: Screams: N/A Cleans: Calm down, bro/10 Guitars: two chords/10  Bass: what the fuck do you think?/10 Drums: actually pretty fucking cool/10  Production: way too much vocal in the mix/10 Lyrics: N/A /10 Songwriting: Read guitar/10 Overall IPHYB Rating: Come on guys, really?/10
