Hiii If you're talking about painkillers maybe check the expiration date on the bottle? I once had a terrible earache and took a ridicous amount without it working at all... Then I saw they had expired the year before. Take care of yourself. ��

sorry it took so long to reply to this!!! thank you for this advice omg. i didn’t even think to check the expiry date until i read what you said tbh. it was dated for 2018 tho, so it should be good??? idk it just wasn’t working for me i guess.......... thank you again though!! really helpful <333

“No! Don’t put her down!” Hena squawked, lunging toward Cullen and the mountain lion cub he’d wrapped in a blanket. The elf lunging forward scared the tiny abandoned cub and she bolted away from them, knocking things left and right as she tried to find a place to hide. Hena winced when gifts Josephine had accepted in his name from various nobles crashed and smashed on the floor.

Well, he hadn’t liked any of them anyway. He only took anything he couldn’t make and discard on the road when he travelled, in a bag on his back or in the bags of his faithful wolfdog.

Hen’aiaslin scrambled after the escaping cub while Cullen stuttered an apology. Hena muttered a distracted apology accepted, trying to coax the cub out from under his giant bed.

It took shapeshifting into his favoured mountain lion form for the cub to come out and once it was snuggled against his belly he glanced around at his formerly pristine room. The perch for his recovering eagle was knocked down and books and papers fluttered in the wind from the open door.

He heaved a great sigh at having to return everything to it’s museum-esque former condition and just turned to clean the exhausted cub with his tongue.

He could deal with all that later. For now, he had a new child to raise.

“Shepard.” Liara scolds, ducking the knife that had gone off course instinctively.

“What?” Shepard asks, innocent face on and fooling nobody.

“You’re too drunk for this.” This being a knife throwing contest with Bray. They’re holed up in a corner of the VIP section of Afterlife because Aria doesn’t mind hiding them from the masses clambering for Shepard to be dragged back in the spotlight in return for a head or two knocked together. Palaven had gone into a minor frenzy when Garrus had vanished to meet up with them, but he’d only shrugged and wrapped his wife up in a hug.

At least the Shadow Broker could be based from anywhere.

“I am not drunk!” Shep protests, picking another knife up from the pile and flicking it at whatever their target was tonight. Bray hissed when it hit dead centre again and picked up his own, aiming carefully around their mess of drinks, weapons and computers. (Bray was possibly the only Batarian Shep would ever admit to liking)

Garrus laughed when Bray’s knife knocked Shep’s out of the target and his wife swore. Shep shifted in her seat on his lap, leaning out of it a bit to get a new angle for hitting Bray’s knife. The end of her black braid was tangled around his fingers and he seemed happy, living moment to moment as they were.

Liara had to smother a smile when Shep’s knife once again displaced Bray’s and she grinned while he swore.
