William and Elizabeth Gallagher were born in the winter of '92 in Trafford, England. Their upbringing was not a happy one. Their mother was complacent in the abuse that was carried out by their father toward not only herself, but their young son as well. Things were never exactly good for William. He was always striving for his father's approval and that left him with an extremely heavy heart throughout his childhood. The only way he could gain any positive attention from his father was through football, and as it turned out, he wasn't half bad at it. As the years passed, he continued to play and grow in the sport and before long he was being scouted by the Manchester United Youth Academy. This was something that brought great joy to his family. Not because they were proud of Wills, but because it was a distraction. It was something that stopped the drinking, stopped the beating, because there was always another game day.Wills debuted with the Manchester United starting team during his 19th year. His first season made him a household name and his second season brought nothing but pain. During the 47' mark during the second home match of the season, Wills met a tackle that was likely to be his demise. It not only dislocated his kneecap and tore the tendons connecting it, but it shattered his tibia as well. He was told by multiple doctors that he would never play football again. He wanted to defy those odds, he really did, but he fell into the same cycle that his father was in. Alcohol was his best friend and a coping mechanism when it came to his sexuality.Wills suffered for a year. He drank. He partied. He fucked away his insecurities. He let life take a hold of him and chew him up. Once it decided to spit him out though, he started to crawl. He was loaned to Leyton Orient FC for his first season back where he made great strides. The pain was bearable at times and unbearable at others, but he made the best of it. Three seasons later, he was back at Old Trafford and ready to shine on his home pitch.𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐌 𝐗 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐋𝐄𝐘 Wills met Finley Haversham during his debut season at MUFC and the pair immediately hit it off and became fast friends. There was nothing that could break the two apart from the very beginning. If anything, Fin fueled Wills to be more, to be better, even if Fin wasn't an actual shining example. Wills was painfully aware of the fact that Fin had slept with his sister, Elizabeth, and that she was in love with him. That did nothing to stop the boy from developing feelings for his best friend, though. 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐘 𝐍𝐎𝐖 It's been like five years and we've had headcanons over the years, but in my mind Wills still plays for MUFC and loves every second of his life. He and Fin were married and are raising Fin's daughter, and a son of their own, together.
