Wow buddy
ā”Ā CLOSED! Starter for @bluejeanbaby ELIJAH & AVERY.
Moments of peace ever only lasted a split second around here. Elijah couldnāt flip the page of his magazine without momentarily hearing shouting or something breaking before he was sucked back into the world of what appeared to be... he pulled the page away from his face.. altruistic vacuum cleaners. Hm. Kitty mustāve left this down here, and truth be told he could interest himself with almost anything. He couldnāt brand himself with that honor, though, no. Not when he saw the toppling body of his six-foot giant friend Kelso being flung over the couch and onto the floor like a rag doll. Even with the blow to the stomach he was laughing, and it was contagious, as he himself was snickering quietly behind theĀ cathartic smoke he was having. No words to spare, though, not even when Donna asked him how he could go through a pack a day and complain about not understanding their herb sessions. Typical Friday afternoon. He held it up, anyone who wanted could invite themselves to a hit..
PLEASANTVILLE.
CONTENT WARNING: HORROR THEMES AHEAD
theme āø investigative, horror, slasher, etc :?
revelations of discarded body parts and clothes are being discovered around town. In dumps, ponds, sewers. The stench is old, encompassing the town in a black cloud where it rains nearly every day. There are two people who consider themselves smart enough to see past the muck of the town. Both keen on knowing. They believe either one of them is responsible, both, or maybe neither. notes: leaving a lot of open room for this. either muses could be an investigator, family member/friend of one of the deceased, -- being one of these roles does not automatically mean innocent party.
āYouāre cute,ā Isaac commented, laughing lightly in between a drag of his cigarette.Ā āBut are you willing to travel with me? Or is this going to be some hookup shit whenever Iām home? Iād rather know how this is before I get attached.ā His face scrunched up at the thought of getting attached to anyone, but it had happened in the past, so why couldnāt it again?
She could almost smile. As undoubtedly serene those blue eyes were, --and how badly she wanted to melt for them--, āYouāre a poet, huh? Iām scared to look through your drawer and find the discarded underwear of how many girls dropped them,ā she smiled. There was something holding her back. There was always something holding her back. It was never something coherent, like a voice, or a gut feeling. Something within her that had kept her confined to the same job in the same town with the same people.Ā āYou know,ā she began. Her honey dyed hair obstructed her view, but not her piercing gaze. She tucked strands behind her ears as she leaned over to where he was. Her forearm rested on his shoulder, her fingers sinisterly crawling up the back of his neck while her free hand took hold of his cigarette for herself.Ā āIf something were to happen to you, theyād look towards the groupie first. Not unless I cover my tracks well.āĀ
MATT & EMILIE
āI wish it was just a little brat who had gotten me good.ā Emilie admits with a tired sigh. She loved her job but some times it was difficult. The doctor was well aware that Matt was joking but she was simply too exhausted to joke back, it had been a difficult day for many reasons, the scratch on her cheek was just one of them.Ā āThe poor love was terrified.ā Part of her felt like crying at how kind his offer was, quickly she nodded as she ran a hand through her hair.Ā āMaybe we could order some take away as well? Have some proper tea before the popcorn.ā
āYou focus on takinā care of that smell and leave the rest to me, alright? Not another peep out of ya. You canāt relax if you donāt let yourself.ā Matt always felt he was well inclined in nurturing out his partners. It was the same with his prior wife, though sheād gotten tired of the charming knight act not long after theyād commemorated their marriage. Heād only hoped this time around would go different, he wasnāt the type of guy to pick up girls at bars anymore. He offered Emilie a kiss to the forehead, his large hand pushed behind her head to stroke her hair comfortingly. As he departed from her he watched her with an eased expression, one that said heād take care of her. He stepped outside into the cold, phone in hand and cigarette in the other. A pack of blues, the tar was wrapped in tobacco, so it bit, just how he liked it. He scrolled through his endless contacts, hoping to call one of them places with the coupons, save them a couple of bucks. Nearby diner sounded nice, he could grab the food for them and be back before she left the bath, it shouldnāt be much of a hassle.Ā
Princess tree and rock doves by Kinzan Haruna (1847-1913), included in Kacho Gashu published in 1905
{open to m/f/nb} ~ {close friend/romantic partner/roommate}
āTrust me. You want me to shower before you even get close to me.ā Emilie said with a sigh as she stepped into the apartment. āLots of blood today. A very, very bad injury for such a small kid. I probably stink.ā
āYeah, and that little brat got you good, huh?ā Mattās thick brow brushed up into his forehead, a few wrinkles forming that were hidden behind tufts of hair. A grin appeared on his cheek, and he massaged the forming gruff as he dismissed her words and came closer just to hold hers. He winced at the sight of her wound, careful with not hurting her. āYou got him back, right? Someone isnāt disciplining their kid.ā His words were only jokes, obvious in his smile.Ā āHow about while you wash up I go put some towels in the dryer, huh? Maybe pop some popcorn in the microwave.. I aināt much for cooking tonight.āĀ
FRANCINE & RICHIE.Ā
āDid you talk to your lawyers?ā āĀ āYeah, yeah, they said everythingās alright. I pushed the subpoena date until February, just until, ā āĀ āRight,ā āĀ āEverythingās okay.. at home. Francine are you alright?ā āĀ āI gotta go, Matt. Iām picking up my bag.ā āĀ āOh, okay. Give me a call, alright? Just to know youāre okay?...Francine?ā Truth be told sheād watched her bag circle around the baggage claim three times. It wasnāt easy to miss; purple with a rose gold chain attached to the top zipper. She only needed the one bag. When sheād attempted to grab the handle, itād unhinged, extracting out and causing the luggage to tip over the side.Ā āOh, shit,ā as it snapped her ankle. If she were less versed in heels thereād been the possibility sheād slip. Just what she needed, she thought. The ride home came and went in flashes. Francine spent a lot of time pressing into the backseat of the cab, almost like sheād been wanting to hide away from the world. She hadnāt noticed it until then, but sheād been holding her breath ever since the airport. The one person she could confide in with how she felt was spending the weekend away with his new girlfriend because he couldnāt stand the tension in their home. Tension that heād created. Thinking of the devil had manifested his name on her phone screen, worried that she hadnāt been the same.Ā āTxt me when you get homeā andĀ āSend my condolences to your family.ā Her family didnāt want to hear from him, and sometimes barely from her if she were honest. That was what got her into most messes nowadays, honesty, like when sheād told the cab driver to close the window that separated their two worlds because his cologne was too much to take in. Sheād hoped the first time sheād come home in awhile was to have a harmonious talk with her mother about their instigations throughout the years, but sheād settle for her dad. Maybe they could make it feel like Christmas after the seltzer lemonade with a pinch of vodka like he always liked. The cab was an addition to the many parked cars outside her childhood home, family that mustāve come in. Was she the last one here?
Black Sheep Plot.
I donāt quite have all the specifics yet- thereās still a lot of blurriness and lines Iāve got to fill- but I wanted a plot based on the songĀ āBlack Sheepā by Metric. This is NOT a development of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Iām focusing on the lyrics.Ā
Hello again, friend of a friend, I knew you when
Our common goal was waiting for the world to end Now that the truth is just a rule that you can bend You crack the whip, shape-shift and trick the past againSend you my love on a wire Lift you up, every time, everyone, ooh, pulls away, ooh From you
A story about a pair of people who were better off never meeting each other. But they had/did anyway. Messy, horrific. Them being together is catastrophic, hurtful and demeaning, but the universe keeps putting them in each others paths. It doesnāt necessarily have to be a romantic plot, in fact platonic would be better. Iāll add to this as I think of more.
Somehow, some way, I am gonna bring her back. And then Iām gonna kill every last one of you. ā³ American Horror Story (2018) - Sojourn

āI told you.ā There was a hazy breath that escaped his lips. It was one of disappointment, more so in him.Ā āItās not you, itās me.ā So much belief in determinism, yet he couldnāt get past the brick wall that separated him from her. Each word he dropped was poison, and he could see that. Heād only wished heād spared her.Ā

ELIJAH & KAI
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āĀ How many times must I repeat myself?Ā āĀ Ā he said, looking clearly annoyed.Ā Ā āIdols canāt give free interviews. They canāt do squat or they risk losing the entirety of the machine thatās backing them. Losing my standing here in America would be no big deal, but China? Japan? Korea? They make me the most money so gomen'nasai. Youāll have to get the scoop on some other aidoru.Ā āĀ Not that heād get much from another either. In America, everyone loved being in front of a camera. Free press was good business regardless, but not overseas. He had learned through his agency that only the best interviews are booked with the most credible reporters. Furthermore, reporters were often paid to ask the right questions. Being spotted out in public with a cheap headline wouldnāt get him in trouble, but giving people full blown interviews could cost him his female fan base. Not cool. Not when he had no idea what heād do if he got dropped.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āAre you looking for extra cash? Is that why you decided to stake out a shitty diner for a scoop?āĀ

Elijah had only been recently put on this ticket a few weeks prior. His talents were best executed behind a screen; where he wrote blogs and articles for music theology or radio colonoscopy. His incentive was bringing old media to the new age, but the firm that he was signed to had lost some of its most stubborn journalists, so they moved him and a few others up to the front line. It was a huge mistake, he thought. Elijah had no idea how to do this-- how to refuse turning around when he received a no.Ā āY-You donāt have to answer any personal questions.. Over the years I have found that the procedures and tools used by most professionals in the music production process are very similar in concept and design. I was curious as to if you..No, No, I-āĀ He sighed. Maybe this was just a cheap scoop. It was for a company that not even five years ago had finally made the switch to turn digitally. Heād read up on this guy, as soon as he got a name, mostly about his exotic life. Even with the questions heād been given to ask Elijah wrote his own. Maybe he could sneak in something lucid along with the two-dimensional cover stories.Ā āIāll even send it to you when Iām done. I wonāt post it up if you donāt want me to.ā

SHE Ā DOESNāT Ā EXPECT Ā that Ā from Ā him, Ā but Ā it Ā looks Ā like Ā heās Ā hit Ā the Ā jackpot. Ā itās Ā one Ā of Ā her Ā greatest Ā flaws Ā : Ā sheās Ā gentle Ā with Ā others, Ā but Ā too Ā harsh Ā when Ā it Ā comes Ā to Ā treating Ā herself. Ā everything Ā has Ā to Ā be Ā absolutely Ā perfect, Ā or Ā else Ā sophie Ā is Ā a Ā complete Ā failure. Ā ā Ā iām Ā pretty Ā sure Ā iāll Ā get Ā everything Ā wrong Ā again, Ā but Ā okay, Ā ā Ā she Ā sighs Ā out, Ā bending Ā to Ā check Ā the Ā oven Ā before Ā adjusting Ā the Ā heat. Ā ā Ā okay, Ā thatās Ā done. Ā whatās Ā next Ā ? Ā how Ā long Ā do Ā we Ā have Ā to Ā wait Ā ? Ā ā

āWell it usually takes this oven five minutes to heat to that temperature. Why donāt you start cutting the Swiss cheese and getting the corn pellets while I help you by carving out the peppers. We also need to roll the dough out so it cools down before we put it inside.ā Darwin always enjoyed the art of culinary. It was relaxing, the routine of hearing something sizzle on a pan, the aroma fanning against your fingers. There wasnāt anything heād rather be doing. It took practice to feel comfortable in front of a grill, and heād hope to help with that process.Ā āHeās going to be proud of you, no matter what. You know that right?ā He smiled, opening up one of the drawers next to the fridge in order to grab what looked like a miniature ice cream scoop. Once he rolled up his sleeves, Darwin began taking out the guts and inside of the vegetable, putting them into an empty bowl beside him. When he worked he usually liked to listen to a bit of musicāā it helped from intrusive thoughts.Ā āAnything in particular station you want to try and find?ā He asked, turning up the knob of his small yagasami radio. She stood all pretty up on a shelf, playing George Harrison as well as she could.
Ā Never seen such a beautiful girl Got me shaking inside Calling on me from deep within her eyes Not the kind you go handing around Want to keep her right there But this love it don't come as no surprise
he sang as softly as he could, though his voice overbore just a little the more he got into it.
