I did! All of the mice were anesthetized yesterday, and we students were all very nervous about it because working with tiny people is scary when you’re new to it. You can’t even fit a stethoscope on them, let alone a blood pressure monitor or a pulse oximeter or anything. Just gotta put your finger on their chest and make sure that little heart’s still beating and their breathing looks normal. Very low tech. None of the machines we run pre-anesthetic bloodwork on are calibrated for rodents, even. So there was a lot of gently begging the mice not to have any complications, because we love them and want them to continue being alive. They did good though, they’re all fine!
