@littlenosferatu asked : ‘Bloody hell.’ So much for being quiet. Apparating without landing on his arse was an achievement and yet, he had misjudged how squeaky the floorboards could be. Exhaling sharply, his eyes darted around the Cullen’s hallway, wand shoved up his sleeve, sparking just slightly. Her scent causing him to squint. The rest of the Cullens were out at school, he’d seen them leaving, but apparently, for whatever reason, Gabriella had stayed home. ‘It’s ah - me - Harry - I mean, I’m still alive.’ It wasn’t like he’d appreciate being whacked with a broom or something; swallow passing his throat. He guessed he had a lot to explain…
There wasn't suppose to be anyone home. At least, that was what Gabriella believed until she heard the unmistakable sound of floorboards squeaking ... as if someone had taken a step. Gabriella didn't think twice as she made her way over to where she heard the sound. After all, it seemed only logical that it was just one of her siblings who had returned back home quickly. But why?
Her thoughts were immediately eradicated with a loud gasp as soon as she saw him. It wasn't any of her siblings who'd thought to be at school ... rather ... it was the very last person who Gabriella expected to see. Her heart raced with happiness upon seeing it was Harry, unable to contain herself from running over and colliding into him with a hug.
"Oh, my go-- Harry!" Gabriella exclaimed in a rush, grunting slightly from knocking herself into him. She hugged him tightly, squeezing with all her might as though it had been far too long for her liking since she last saw him. "Where have you-- ... w-what happened!?" She demanded, pulling back from the hug to get a proper look at him. Was he hurt? She couldn't tell. "Why didn't you call us? We've all been worried sick!"
