i mean considering it's his website.... yes it is kind of on him? i know he doesn't "owe us" anything. considering the website is free and, as i actually said in the very post you're replying to, i dont know what else he might have going on in his life, im not crazy enough to think that he ought to spend every second of every day working on or thinking about cherubplay

but as i also said, he couldve opened up other mod/admin positions if handling the entire site by himself was too much. which, frankly, is entirely understandable because cherubplay is VERY active despite being a relatively obscure roleplaying website that started off being for one specific fandom. its too late to do anything now ofc, but especially in the earlier days of the website or when the directory first debuted or when the first "PSApocalypse" happened, having even one other mod around couldve lessened a lot of stress on his part, and when he got burned out like he is now, there'd still be another mod around instead of having to shut down the entire site

tbh, not once have i ever actually objected to the site being shut down. if he wants to shut the website down i'm not going to stop him?? im just saying, hypothetically, there are other things that couldve happened
