that statement wanted to make him just stand there and laugh at that statement. him? a saviour? the man who stands before the messenger was the man who was cast aside and lost his right to the throne for being a healer, and to hear livaris - not this elias name he took on - say he could of saved people made ardyn just feel so jovial, yet full of pure anger and spite at the same time. a deadly concoction, one that was bathed in fires.

“you would say that, wouldn’t you? saving mankind from the ailments in their system is all so noble, isn’t it. yet look what it cost me, look at just who stole my throne, who stole my title. did your precious little gods tell you this, livaris? the truth of why i despise them, and by extension, dislike you, little messenger boy?”  head tilts as the wolfish grin etches on his lips, letting his form tower the other as emphasis on that title he bestows on the other, quite probably begrudgingly in the other’s favour, but he never cared.

“somnus stole everything because i was blessed to heal, blessed to save people, and the crystal shunned me aside for that. they both call me corrupt, monstrous, a parasite, so why not embrace that and turn that pain on the lineage he so desperately wants to aid? why not make bahamut have some amusing viewing? tell me, livaris, since you oh so loyally talk for the six, are they proud of the role i play for them? or do they prefer me being the false healer like you want me to be?”
