Grad Apps and Live Auditions
That part of life where I keep refreshing my e-mail, hoping it'll be filled with live audition e-mails...I'm a sad human being. Hahahaha
dokidoki...
I'm cheering Shirota Hiori now, my friend that will join the person inside Meruri audition (VOCALOID) that will be started in 40 minutes >< if you understand Japanese you can check it at http://live.nicovideo.jp/gate/lv133821056 (nico live)
C-Jes Live Audition
So i went to C-Jes Live Audition and I did terrible. Honestly, I was terrified on stage lol the moment I walked on I wanted to leave so bad but i had to learn to face my fear somehow so I stayed for that and my dream. I had lost my voice a couple of days before the audition due to a cold and I totally freaked out! Anyways, i was absolutely nervous and my knees were shaking lol. I thought I was going to cry. I’m not so sure exactly how and when I developed that fear but it has always been with me (even though I had stood on the stages before playing music and performing cultural dances); it was the first time I was on stage alone and singing. My voice cracked, it went off pitch, and probably scared everyone there *sigh* i have never felt so disappointed in myself ever. The dream and passion I live for was right before my eyes and I let it slide right out of my hands because of my stage fright, nervousness and being sick. I should have done better to prepare myself. Everyone there shared the same dream-the same passion and we all went after what we love. It was truly a beautiful night to remember. Just being there and being able to stand on the stage singing (no matter how terrible I did) for the first time I was already so thankful. At least now I know how it feels to stand on the stage singing-the next time I should do better and accept and welcome my fears more prepared. ^_^ Everyone did a good job chasing their dream even though we were all nervous (some more than others-me). Anyways, there were some guest performers there and I enjoyed every bit of it~! My favorite of course, would have to be Junsu’s performance of “I Hate Love”. I love everything about that man when he’s on stage singing and pouring his heart out! I mean as cheesy as this may sound but I left my jacket in the car and being glued to my chair from 2-9ish (i think or maybe even 10, can’t remember exactly) PM so it was pretty chilly and I was freezing with a tank top on but he definitely warmed the night for me with his beautiful, emotional, powerful voice and stage presence! Also, I had the BEST seat in the house (the closest to the stage) so it was obvious I enjoyed it even more! I sat there smiling the whole time (hopefully I didn’t look like a creeper hahaha) and was just blown away throughout his whole performance. I didn’t scream or yell or anything besides clap for him since I’m naturally like that haha. Blessed to have seen him that night performing and the next night again at his concert. I definitely missed that man on the stages! Of course, Jaejoong and Yoochun (I can’t wait for their next world tour) too, I am always up for an amazing live performance for my favorites! I really look up to Junsu, along with the other four members. To feel what they feel while standing on stage pouring their hearts out, to strive-to reach-and live their dream, to be able to do what they do, someday I wish to fulfill that dream, love and passion too, until then I just have to work harder. I’m so thankful to have them be a part of my life and influenced it so much (even if it’s just through music) since their debut with “Hug”. I can honestly say I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for them and one day, I’ll be able to thank them for that in person. So C-jes audition was definitely a great experience! Special thanks to my friend Amy for being so supportive and helping me out with everything, John Oppa for being encouraging, all the special guests cheering us on, Junsu, the judges, all the staff that was working hard that very day and night, and C-Jes for putting everything together! How can it get better than this? And Congratulations to the five chosen! ^_^ they did a marvelous job! I am definitely looking forward to see what they have in store for us in the future~! ^^ i know it will be something great~! I am truly happy for them and they definitely deserve it~! Xo J. Es
