PT-7030 Surround Processor Review
When it comes to routing audio and shaping your audio signals, most DJs and producers will work with their computers as much as possible before looking for hardware solutions. Often times, a small issue can be solved by a simple software setting. You can even work a great deal with your basic virtual EQ to correct your volumes within your recording. This works out great until you realize the limitations of your computer and its peripherals. It might have HDMI connections as well as digital connections, but it was never built to be the hub for multiple audio solutions. Once you factor in the extra amount of work that it takes for your soundcard to process everything – you’re looking at an overloaded piece of hardware. Perhaps it might be best to look into hardware solutions that fix your existing setup. If you have six different digital connections running to the same speaker, an audio processor exists as a dedicated solution for dealing with the various sources of sound. Some of these signals need to be processed for a home theater system, and others need to be boosted to work with PA speakers and more basic systems. http://www.audioholics.com/reviews/processors/sherbourn-pt-7030-surround-processor
