Garbage Pail Kids: Jolted Joel
From Series 2 GIFs/NFTs I created for Topps.
This is my favorite Garbage Pail Kid - Jolted Joel AKA Live Mike
I have spent a long time searching for every version of this character’s cards released in every country and in all variations. This is a graphical checklist that I’ve made and these 27 are just a fraction, making up the centerpiece as it were. There were well over 100 cards and other items released and I’m very close to having them all.
But I still need help! Despite scrounging GPK groups and eBay for months on end, one in particular eludes me. I need a Chrome Series 2 53b Live Mike autograph!
Sure, it’s a longshot, but can I get a reblog? Someone out there has this, and if it’s you, reading this right now then please, dude - let me know. I will hook you right the fuck up.
I was stylin' in the 80's.

Dermot is wooed by Mike Murphy on The Live Mike
Dermot smashes up a wooden crate with a hurley stick, because fuck crates!
A grass skirt was also implicated.
"Okay, carry out those bodies there now..."
Dermot indulges in a spot of indoor hurling on The Live Mike.
He was a very good friend to me but I don't think he ever forgave me for going on The Arts Show. He loved the fact that the show went out live because he had a licence to break up the set with a hurley. He would leap out of the audience, swinging the hurley about, and head for one part of the set, to smash it down.
Mike Murphy, who worked with Dermot Morgan on The Live Mike, quoted in The Irish Times
See here for evidence of Dermot not forgiving Mike for going on The Arts Show.
