You should def practice holding a pose for figure drawing. Get to know your limits: how long can you hold a twist in the torso, how long can you hold a dynamic arm position without trembling too much, figure out what poses to use/what variations to use, get into the habit of checking where your feet are planted etc. Wear clothes that are easy to put on and take off, bring a robe if you have one, and don't forget to eat a hearty meal and drink lots of water so you don't pass out. Very important.
