Meet BG: "Creating Is My Outlet"
First things first...
Don't ever call our shit streetwear...
Apologies for taking forever to introduce myself. Justin has been at my neck damn near everyday to get on here and speak, lol.
In all honesty, I just didn't feel like I had anything to say. I'm more of a "ask me" type. Coincidentally, that's exactly what happened...
"What is your outlet?" -- Justin
For some reason, I seemed to have a lot to say for such a vague question. What is mine? Creating; there's so much freedom and power in creation. It provides a freedom of having complete control over your own reality. I get a helluva high out of seeing concepts being brought to life; Like grabbing an idea out of thin air.
Creatively, I'm influenced by 2 things; everything and anything.
I'm always researching no-names to big-names and the thought process behind their work, trying to see if it's aligned with the way I process shit creatively.
I have a way of talking in circles, so bare with me.
To go back on the freedom/power aspect of creating, I simply want what I want.
When I'm out in stores looking to buy, it's always a piece that I want to make better. It never, ever has been something I wanted made by someone, that made me say "wow, this is exactly what I wanted." Because there never will be.
The guy didn't have me in mind when he made this $100 Crewneck, but I definitely can tell we're like minded.
When developing product for NF, I always have some type of muse; I make it for whoever or whatever I have in mind.
The end result of people admiring the creation beyond my circle of friends is just the icing on the cake.
Trust and believe that each garment you see has been mainly inspired by living. Period.
Each item, is carefully constructed as if it was a one of one. The type of person I am, it'd be crazy to make what I make only for one person. We all should feel included.
Too many people are trying too hard to be exclusive, ultimately belonging to a "gang of exclusive ppl"; they're all still doing the same shit!
It's like they refuse to accept reality lol.
That's why I love the concept of NF; no one is foreign to one another, everyone and everywhere is home. Everywhere I go, Justin goes, we're home.
Ain't nothing wrong with having a team of individuals focused on one dope ass goal.
Never Foreign is an outlet to bring you quality masterpieces, communicated through apparel. We're looking to assemble a collective great ppl in great clothes.

Day FOUR:
Today was an exciting day!
All the hard work has finally payed off. Opening the roll of prints with the kids artworks on it felt like Christmas and everyone was proud of their achievement.
Then we got the scissors and started cutting out each artwork for next weeks paste-up installation. In total we will have over 14 different artworks, which will be pasted on three different walls.
