Kind of good- I'm generally excited about this film though so many people are of course going to say "It'll never be as good as the original" and of course it will not (most likely.) Though I'm highly sure It will be an enjoyable film.

Still giddy from the news that Disney has decided to do a live-action adaptation of the 1998 animated film “Mulan,” we (mostly Grace Wong, really) gathered together to put together our dream casting for the upcoming film.  Here are our picks!

Mulan, main character: Constance Wu She's already made waves as Jessica Huang in ABC's “Fresh Off the Boat” and her outspoken candidness about Asian American culture makes her an ideal in my book. She has a great concerned face, angry face and she has amazing comedic timing. Although she might be a bit old for the role, she's the person that I'm rooting for. Runner Up: Arden Cho

Shang Li, main bae: Godfrey Gao Not only is he mindblowingly sexy, he's already been on the big screen in “Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.” He has a persistent smolder mixed with an impishness that will make everyone swoon. I would personally follow him to go defeat the Huns. Runner Up: Daniel Henney 

  Mushu: Eddie Murphy I truly hope they go with a CGI Mushu because he's definitely one of my favorite characters and since Eddie Murphy did such a swell job last time, I think they should re-enlist him. Runner Up: Jackie Chan

Fa Zhou, Mulan's father: Russell Wong

Fa Li, Mulan's mom: Ming Na Wen

Shan Yu, the bad guy: Chow Yun Fat 

Grandma: Lucille Soong

Chien Po: Rex Lee

Ling: Jimmy Wong
