Round 2 of rescuing bees from this cupola, after the first rescue it was not fully sealed and a new swarm moved in. The residual smell of comb is highly attractive to bees. These bees are so incredible, look at how much comb they built out in less than four months! 🍯 Except these bee possibly have a percentage of Africanized genetics (A. m. scutellata) because they are very defensive. I say defensive because bees are not aggressive, they just get a bad rap for you know...killing themselves protecting their home. 🤺 I took out and almost filled 5 frames, but there's probably another 3 to 5 still up there. I started taking a fair amount of stings so decided to stop and let them chill out...to bee continued 🏳🏳🏳🐝🐝🐝 _ #livebeeresuce #savethebees #africanizedbees #Apismelliferascutellata #bees #honeybees #apis #beekeeping #beekeepers #beekeepingtherapy #apiculture #certifiedbeekeepers #beehivesmatter #beestings #beestingtherapy #southfloridabeekeepingassociation #fiubeekeeping #almostround2 #skateordie #beesordie #inbeeswetrust (at Miami Beach Botanical Garden) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4DET4iA85L/?igshid=nq7wut3em7el
