not to sound judgemental but it's - 4 degrees right now but with the wind it feels like - 17 and this dude walked past me in shorts and flip flops.......

2016 has been personally wild for me because not only did my mother tell me about a half cousin that i never knew existed as well a whole slew of other ridiculous family drama but a few days ago she also told me that i’m not really romanian and greek, i’m actually romanian and ethnically aromanian (but the greek version) and oh, apparently my mother also speaks aromanian
so, it’s basically official: i will be student teaching two courses next semester!!!
so, for my research methods class we had to do an article presentation (and even though we’re a group of 3 only 2 people had to present...it’s a long story) so anyway, the two other people were supposed to present and on my way to class, roughly an hour before the presentation, one of the group members texts me to tell me that her train is cancelled and she can’t make it SO I LITERALLY HAD TO LEARN HER PART OF THE PRESENTATION IN UNDER AN HOUR and somehow despite all this we still got 100% on the presentation and basically, i feel invincible right now
ONE OF MY PROFESSORS BROUGHT HER DOG TO CLASS AND IT SAT IN MY LAP FOR A SOLID LIKE 15 MINUTES AND BASICALLY, THIS WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY WEEK
HOLD UP I FORGOT ABOUT THE BEST THING I FOUND OUT TODAY
so i was having lunch with my friend (she’s a graduate student in the history department) and she told me about how one of her colleagues (who i’ve met before and i’m like low key friends/acquaintances with) is teaching a new class next semester and guess what it’s called........the history of soccer
