livekyoto replied to your post “DP/TAZ prompt 3: Despite that the last light he saw was bright, bright...”
I gotta say this is a trip - my Danny phantom memories are planted firmly in 2005-2006 and TAZ is so *now* that this feels like a severe culture clash to me but I would LOVE to see where this goes.
I came into DP later and have been writing fanfic for it on and off pretty much ever since, so I never had to deal with any sort of whiplash. *grins* I’m glad you liked this, though! If you haven’t, I’d encourage you to check out the linked post to the anon’s ask to see the larger picture they envisioned around that prompt.

Oh my god, you're 26? You're so interesting and talented and accomplished and //you're only 26//
i am 26!!! somehow both a tiny baby and a decrepit old woman.
@livekyoto replied to your post ... where did you find cardboard egg cartons though
Inageya! The brand is こだわりさくらいろたまご and they’re a little pricier, but I want to reduce plastic anyway and they claim to have a good environment for the chickens...
@todayintokyo @livekyoto @nedeli @stefaniewhat, thank you all for your thoughtful and kind replies to my utter nonsense. It means a lot to know that it made some sense to you.
Once, I told a close friend that I liked living in Japan, but had to leave before it ruined me. She said “Ruins you? What the hell does that mean?” and looked at me with such bewilderment that I couldn’t begin to try to explain. Six or seven years later, I’m still here, still hoping to go home someday, have had multiple close friends diagnose me as a lifer, and now dungus fucking twimp is systematically dismantling democracy in my country, and sometimes I have so many ugly, conflicting, chopped-up, muddled emotions that I feel like monjayaki. Which is a longwinded way of saying that I may be very lost, but it is immensely reassuring if even a little bit of my word salad resonated with you. It will be fine because it will always, eventually, be fine. Gamba and gaman and neba-neba give up, right?
@livekyoto replied to your link post Oh my god. My husband is weirdly a fan of nic cage. I must buy them. livekyoto replied to your link post WHAT DO YOU MEAN YUCK
ahahaha, they’re just not my thing! The texture, maybe? But now I know who I can rely on to report on these ;)
@livekyoto replied to your photo post Hospital?????
Sick grandma :( But I’m grateful I could come home to help!
You've never been to Nagoya???????? Oh my god, tenmusubi, kishimen, miso katsuuuuu. Please find a chance to go! I'm drooling already.
Somehow I’ve never made it! I’ve really wanted to go though… I love Nagoya chicken wings! And red miso.
