Facing fears is one of our goals on our journey. * * I can’t tell you how much my husband and children fear heights but they put themselves out there and become vulnerable to this beast they call Devils Bridge. * * Taking a chance and walking out on this arch made of sandstone with nothing underneath it was actually Malia’s idea. After hiking 2.5 miles up intense terrain how could we not walk out on this? * * It was very intimidating but we did it. I am so proud of my girls for doing things they never would have done before. You can see how intense this hike was but they did it and did not complain one time, even in the 102 degree heat.
