We have left the DR and are in CLT waiting to fly home to Indy. This is the hard part...re-entry and the processing and unpacking of it all. It’s a great big world out there and we serve an AMAZING God. I realize I have been playing small. I have played it small in my business, I have played small and let others opinions hold me back, but most gut-wrenching is I feel I have been playing small in my faith. I feel called to live more boldly for Him. Allow Him to write my story. Share with authenticity His love. I am holding on to the word SURRENDER. It was shared with me on this trip that our lives are a long term mission and each and every day is a short term mission. I am going to hold on to that each and every day. We show our love to Him by serving others. Who can we serve today? Our trip to the DR may be over, but our mission is not. | Done for the Summer |

It hurts my heart that a new batch of teenagers didn't roll in today and that this isn't just a break, it is the end. At least for this summer. More than usual I was eager for each new week to do ministry with teenagers. Hopefully next smer will bring even more weeks filled with youth teams doing evangelism cause even though my body is tired my soul feels alive (because sharing Jesus with others alongside teenagers is what I live for!)

Last morning with this crew. Brought in a Ninja warrior to show them that they can impact the nations through their passions if they use them for God. Fame and money aren't this Ninjas goals, rather bringing​ Gods kingdom on Earth and that focus has lead him to competing in national TV and taken him around the world. Day 1 - June 19, 2015

Our day began very early this morning, but we have arrived safely in the DR. We are grateful for God’s favor. All of our bags are accounted for and we had no delays or problems with flights. Our team has already begun to connect as a whole as well as individually. We are expectant that God is going to continue to reveal Himself in ways that our minds cannot comprehend. He has blessed us tremendously already. 

Upon arriving at the TEARS center, we enjoyed meeting the missionaries and eating a delicious dinner together. Everyone here at the TEARS center has been welcoming and We just finished a brief team meeting and are now organizing and getting ready for a great week of kids camp! 

Please continue to pray for us as we prepare for camp and acclimate to the surroundings. 

Tomorrow morning we will have a short orientation, a walk through the Barrio with our DR missionary friends, and a visit to the market.
