Asami "My world now revolves around Takaba Akihito" Ryuichi is going to freaking kill me. He really be out there just falling head over heels for Akihito.

He is, isn’t he? A total goner. All excuses forsaken now that the truth is out there, and also this:

Stuck underground, bathed in sunlight… Again, kudos to Yamane Ayano for breaking the mold and showing that here, the seme is the one seeking comfort, the one admitting his feelings. Asami can’t keep his hands away from Akihito and it’s not just for the sex.

Let’s take this one step further, yeah?

“After being underground for so long”

We have seen what Akihito was up to during their separation. Doing chores, helping the elderly, getting into trouble, hanging out with a monk. And where was Asami?

He was literally underground, torturing people. A brief reminder of that iconic comment Fei Long makes when they meet in Hong Kong:

Without Akihito, this is what life is for Asami Ryuichi. Destroying enemies, exposing traitors, blood, violence, darkness. That is what he has to deal with. That is what life has always been, but now that he knows what it is like to be “bathed in sunlight”, he looks far from happy or indifferent. 

Notice those eyes.

Knowing that such lifestyle is one he was pushed into by his father (as we learn from FnS), I can’t help but wonder: does he want out? Is he beginning to consider the possibility of moving away from that darkness, or is it too late? He doesn’t want to be separated from Akihito ever again, but that means he will either drag Akihito into the darkness with him or leave that darkness behind for once and for all. Where do we go from here?

I’m very curious to see what happens now that Asami’s world revolves around Akihito, as you said, because it poses a problem (and a choice) that they will have to face sooner or later, and that choice will have a hefty price tag attached to it.

Honestly the sex scene in the new chapter was just so romantic. Like the way they were talking to one another and the way they were kissing and Asami and Akihito kept their faces so close; it was just extra soft and intimate this time.

Yes! It really feels like a quantum shift in their relationship, particularly--as you say--in the way they talk and touch. So often, when they have sex, there’s almost a wryness in the way Asami takes part in the act, as though part of him remains removed or concealed behind that maddening smirk. That’s completely gone here. As is his domineering approach to sex. The asking is so beautiful, the touches so tender. And Aki isn’t hedging with his usual denials and insecurities. I love this frame because it shows those things, Asami tender and sincere, his hands holding not grasping, and Aki claiming and owning his own feelings and desires. Asami is everything he wants now and in return, Aki’s want is Asami’s desire.

honestly I feel you so hard with them doing Shiro dirty. like it hurts so much. I just gotta believe in them because they gave us the holy bible of The Black Paladins, and the story as a whole has been so beautiful. I'm praying that they don't play Shiro like that.

I’m not suddenly going to disown the entire show and I’m going to hold final judgement until I see season 7 and see what becomes of Shiro.

But Shiro losing his bond with the Black Lion makes absolutely no sense and is a gigantic disservice to his character when his entire arc has been built on that bond and on his role as Black Paladin as a means of recovery and finding self-value after what the Galra did to him. At this point it really just looks like they wanted an excuse to get Shiro out of the way and remake 80s Voltron in the most convoluted way possible.

This decision of severing Shiro’s bond with Black (after Black literally absorbed his SOUL so keep him alive), making the lion switch permanent and turning Keith into the only Black pilot (when Keith’s entire bonding with Black has been all about and through Shiro) has turned the entire concept of Lion/Paladin bonds into a huge joke, and that concept is one of the basic foundations of the show. All for what? Nostalgia? 

Shiro deserves better.

Thank yo so much! I actually got better but took a break from Tumblr because of exams,,, and now I got sick again! It’s worse this time because I am on antibiotics but I’m hoping to be better for Christmas! Or at the very least for my exams in January-

When you moved to Italy you had been warned about the dangers of the mafia and to keep your wits about you

Still you were expecting intimidating guys, or people who could obviously be part of the mafia. Not the kind but somewhat blunt and still slightly prone to cursing man you had befriended

You had met Xanxus while trying to find your way back to your apartment, but after multiple failed attempts of asking for directions, took refuge in a bar

Xanxus had been sitting beside you when you guzzled down his drink, distraught.

In the past he would have gotten mad but now he simply asked you what was wrong, and once you didn’t respond to his Italian he asked you in English

He ended up giving you directions, a few insults peppered in for how easy it was to get there

Since then you two began to hang out more and more

You even met the rest of the Varia as well! Though you didn’t know it was the varia

Yet when he so casually began to mention missions and hitmen in normal conversation you grew a bit suspicious

When you asked about it he told you straight away, that he was the Xanxus, leader of the Varia and famous in the mafia underworld

Lets just say you were quite shocked

You heard rumours, but he was meant to be hot headed and cruel, not mellow?!

It took a while getting used to it, but you soon realised that being linked to the mafia had it’s perks e.g. free textbooks

It also meant free protection

but alas, you can’t believe your luck. After openly attempting to avoid the mafia you managed to befriend one of the most powerful members of it

Well at least your time in Italy wont be boring right?
