Standing tall on a boulder tattooed with graffiti in the wooded part of Central Park, King Rasmus held court. Because he was safe behind the angular lines of the buildings of stone and glass In manhattan. Because he could still hear the traffic and the cussing through the trees. Because he could see the truth and the sun shining through fractals of branches and leaves. The light made shadows and phantoms for his mind to play with. For him, this was that place in the city where he could make believe that all of it is green.
