While Caiera loved the twins very much, the babies had been taking up a lot of time and she was glad when Clark had offered to take them for the night so she could spend time with Billy.
Caiera had spent the evening spoiling her older son, taking him to his favorite places to eat and buying him more ice cream than he could finish. Now they were on the couch in the home they shared with their family watching movies Billy had claimed to be his favorites.
They were already cuddled up on the couch, but Caiera was slightly surprised when Billy’s head fell into her lap. She looked down at her Little One and smile when she found him to be sleeping soundly. It would have been easy for Caiera to lift Billy and take him to his bed, but the alien woman stayed put. She wanted to just look at her boy, run her fingers though his dark hair and think about how lucky she was to have him. At least until the movie was finished.
