But I noticed in one of your answers to a question about how Ray would react if MC were also a yandere you said that he’s a hypocrite and doesn’t like having things done to him that he does to others does that mean Ray could cheat?
I mean, I’ve noticed that with a lot of characters like Homelander or generally in the kind of environment Ray is in, where he has power especially since he has many admirers and has been in multiple relationships before, it’s kind of known that even if there is love, there are still many temptations (easy to get la* there)
Also, considering that, um… Ray’s “horny level” is kind of high I didn’t really understand is that just generally how he is, or is it only with MC? Does that mean he might have a mindset like “it’s okay if I cheat, but not you”? Or that he doesn’t even consider it cheating in the first place?
(I know I might have misunderstood or mistranslated a lot of things, especially since from Ray’s behavior he does seem to value loyalty, etc., but I just wanted to make sure)

And no, Ray would never cheat omg. I do try to stay realistic with morally grey characters, but cheating just doesn’t feel in character for him. With Ray, it’s very much you either live together or die together.
I think it might be a translation issue! When I say he’s a hypocrite, I mean it more like he expects certain things from MC but won’t easily give the same in return. For example, I imagine he would demand that you don’t keep things from him (not that you really could if he tried), yet he tends to close himself off and isn’t fully transparent unless he’s really pressured to do so. He expects trust from MC while giving very little reason for that trust. He also wants things done his way but doesn’t really listen to MC’s opinions (the Binary Star after story). So yeah, I guess stubborn is a more accurate word.
Even though he has a lot of admirers, I don’t think he sees them as temptations at all. If anything, they’re more like liabilities, and a reminder of how detached he is from humanity. No one really sees him as Ray; they only see the Binary Star persona, which prevents him from forming deep, meaningful relationships because everything around him is so superficial, praising the part of him that he hates.
He’s also very different from Homelander in that sense. Homelander still cares about public perception to some degree, while Ray genuinely couldn’t care less. If anything, Ray feels more like someone who only values intense, one-on-one connections rather than shallow attention. ( if you happen to know instinctual variants, I think homelander is So and Ray is very much Sx) So short-term relationships or temptations just wouldn’t interest him.
As for his “high horny level”, I personally think that’s directed only at MC. I don’t see him getting any enjoyment from being with people he doesn’t care about, which is basically everyone except MC. Toward everyone else his “hate level” is probably way higher lol.
