Though her brother’s life revolved around music—composing, producing, and arranging—it was a world Lily knew little about. He would occasionally share his ideas or finished pieces with her, but she had never truly grasped the intimacy and depth that music could hold. It wasn’t until Orion entered her life that she began to understand the universe music could create.

As soon as she arrived at his studio, she settled into one of the swivel chairs, and Orion, without hesitation, pulled her closer. Lily chuckled softly, crossing one leg over the other and resting her elbow on her thigh, supporting her chin on her hand. “I’m all ears,” she said with a playful smile, watching as he picked up an acoustic guitar she hadn’t seen before.

Her eyes followed his fingers as they moved over the strings, the sound of his voice soon filling the room with a soothing melody. At first, the lyrics didn’t quite resonate, but as she listened more intently, she realized the song was a story—one meant just for her. And in that moment, the world of music that once felt distant became deeply personal, wrapping around her like a secret only Orion could share.

Lily inhaled deeply, sensing the earthy scent in the air with the beginning of rain. It wasn't her favorite fragrance, yet it held a certain charm that she couldn't deny.

As she pondered her outfit for the day that morning, uncertain of how to dress for a forecasted 50% chance of rain, she opted for a cozy sweater, hoping it would be enough against the unpredictable weather. With her choice made, she proceeded with her plans for the rest of the day.

Nightfall brought with it not just the moon's gentle glow, but also the sudden onslaught of a torrential storm. Taking refuge in a bus stop near the venue where Orion had performed, Lily watched as the rain pelted the ground.

Gratitude filled her heart for Orion's invitation, and as the performance ended, she left to take the last bus that would take her home. However, a warm jacket surrounded her shoulders, dissipating the chill that had begun to go deep into her bones.

She turned around to see Orion standing beside her, a smile drew on Lily's lips. "Orion?" she murmured, a hint of disbelief staining her tone. "Come closer, you'll get drenched," she said, guiding him under the shelter of the bus stop. "Thank you for the jacket," she added, her thankfulness evident in her expression.

“INCOMING!” Minnie yelled as she sat herself down next to Lily and grinned. She held up a few bags and placed them in front of her friend before leaning over and kissing her cheek a bunch of times, “Happy Birthday Unni. The necklaces are for both of us…”

"Is that… Is it all for me?" Lily tried to count the bags, but Minnie kept moving them around. It certainly was more than three, and even that amount was too many presents. However, every time she opened a bag, the thought of 'too many' disappeared; she was fully immersed in every gift. Lily threw herself towards the other female and wrapped her arms around her neck. "I love everything! Thank you so much."

Sprained wrist meaning he had to rest his hand and those also mean he had to stop playing piano and stopped tutoring for a while. And he hated that. Because that was what he did for a living. But it was his fault to sprained his own wrist.

He sighed for the nth time that day as he was really annoyed. He had to cancel his classes for the whole two weeks and now he had nothing to do. But suddenly the front door opened. And there was only one person that knew his apartment unit’s password. And he sighed again, contented this time as he saw her. Worry written on the younger girl’s face when she approached him. He had sent her a text earlier after he went back from doctor.

Leo let her pick his hand as he looked at her. But she suddenly planted a kiss on his injured wrist. Well, he wasn’t expecting it at all but it made him smile and pecked her lips in return.
