Day 30 of #LJsVinylChallenge: Self-titled Album. Well, this is definitely not a self-titled album. I am embarrassed to say that I have 2 Partridge Family albums and I grabbed the wrong one. But I'm super busy tonight and all weekend and won't be able to listen to their self-titled debut, so here we are. When this started playing I was worried about how much cheese was coming my way, but I quickly found myself bopping along with the music. Day 29 of #LJsVinylChallenge: The Letter "C." I guess I am a rebel, continuously using first names instead of surnames. This album is so great. The first time I listened to it, I was shocked at how many of the songs I already knew. It's full of classics. Day 28 of #LJsVinylChallenge: Singular Album Name. This is such a classic album and I really don't listen to it often enough. Day 27 of #LJsVinylChallenge: Can't Live without It. I know this isn't regarded as one of the best #Beatles albums, but it's one of my favourites. It was one of the first Beatles albums I got my hands on (thank you, public library) and I wore that CD out! Day 26 of #LJsVinylChallenge: Fave 90s Release. I was trying to only play albums in this challenge that I haven't used yet in any challenges this year, but this is literally the only 90s album I own. Day 25 of #LJsVinylChallenge: Non-Male Artist/Band. The Wilson sisters were among the first female musicians on my radar. The song Alone blew me away around the age of 6. Day 24 of #LJsVinylChallenge: I Paid Too Much for This Album! I had previously bought volume 2 of this collection and really liked it, so when I saw this at the local Salvation Army store for a couple of bucks, I jumped on it! Plus, it has a great Simon and Garfunkel track, and while I didn't recognize all of the artists, I did recognize all of the songs. Sadly, some of the covers on this album are real stinkers. I love the Byrds, but their version of Hey Joe is really awful.
