The worlds notice when Sora fades away. Just like when Pooh felt Sora almost fell to darkness, all those who have made a connection to Sora feel it when he disappears at the end of KH3.

Mulan reaches for Mushu in the night. 

Ariel picks up baby Melody and holds her close. 

The man formerly known as the Beast wakes up, roaring at the pain in his heart.

Hercules, Peter Pan, Alice, Woody, and all of Sora’s friends ache when he fades from existence. Sora connected with so many hearts during his adventures, and each one feels the empty piece of their heart.

However, each are determined not to forget him. Eugene and Rapunzel send up a lantern to light his way home one day. Woody and Buzz vow to find out what happens Sora at the end of Verum Rex. Hercules and Meg keep an eye on Sora’s star in the sky and take comfort in the fact it is still there.

In the end, Sora made each of them a part of his heart. How could they let him fade into oblivion?

Some Ienzo headcanons

For @book-of-kingdom-hearts (edit: I realized that you asked for fluffy headcanons and some of these were a bit angsty! Sorry)

Ienzo remembers little of the time before he joined the Castle family, but he has faint memories of playing in Town with some of the older kids. There was a sweet little girl who would give him flowers when he was sad. She loved giving people flowers from the little shop near the square. The shopkeeper only supplied the best flowers in Radiant Garden.

Once he reformed in Radiant Garden, he and Aeleus negotiated the Castle property with the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee. For the first time in a decade, he felt truly at home.

As a Nobody, he moved between the Castle that Never Was and Castle Oblivion fairly often. Wherever Vexen went, Zexion followed. It was only fair that now that Ienzo was older, he repaid that favor to Even.

Nothing could atone for all the wrongdoings of the last 12 years for Ienzo. He could save all of the hearts connected to Sora and Kairi, but that didn't save the hearts lost during the experimentation. He never spoke of it with Saix or Axel, but he knew they came to look for Subject X. As a child, he had no idea what Apprentice Xehanort and his Master did to the subject. All Ienzo knew was that he was culpable to the very end.

One day, not long after Naminé wakes up, Ienzo leaves the Castle for a day off. He sneaks away to the Outer Gardens. This is the only place where he finds peace outside of his laboratory.

Bonus: Ienzo becomes part of the Honorary KeyKid Club with Hayner, Pence, and Olette. They may not be wielders, but without their heroic actions, there's no way the Guardians would have succeeded. He and Pence video chat about technical doodads, while Ienzo and Olette trade Classic Kingdom games.

One day, instead of kids capturing Mickey-shaped lucky emblems, they start sharing pictures of all these crowns they find everywhere. A group of Twilight Town kids find on the GummiWeb that other worlds have them too. Hayner, Pence, and Olette lead the social media charge and start a movement to find out where these new emblems lead. After all, they never stopped believing in Roxas; why would this be any different?

Olette: We know you're out there somewhere! No one else can wear a crown like you! #SearchForSora

Selphie: There's a new one in the Secret Place. @ Kairi and @ Riku are gonna flip!

Yuffie: Squall has town on alert. The Radiant Garden Restoration Committee is on the job. #SearchForSora

Young Xehanort as we know him, is younger than Chess Xehanort. Ansem supposedly gave him the power to travel time while he was still on Destiny Islands. So at the time of the immortal Woody roasting, he might not have known love.

He wanted to leave Destiny Islands, paradise to some, but a prison for him. Isn't it possible that before his time in Scala ad Caelum, he wasn't exposed to true love? He somehow makes it to Scala one day. Then he met his fellow pupil Eraqus, and there he finds what love actually means. He promises one day to be there for Eraqus, only to turn against him one day.

Later, we find out that he was being groomed to be the scapegoat by Luxu. The one to gather darkness, the one to be the fall guy. Luxu needed someone to use No Name to open Kingdom Hearts for his own goals. Xehanort learned manipulation from the best; look how he turned out.

And so despite learning how to love from his friend, Xehanort fell to darkness in his drive to prove himself to everyone and accidentally fulfilled Woody's prophecy of him ending up alone.

No lie, Kingdom Hearts 2 had the best recap section of any game ever. It framed the recap in the rechaining of Sora's memories, and in doing so, we saw what really stood out during the restoration process. Also, we see these memories as Roxas, who is confused af, but he realizes how important Sora is. All while "Treasured Memories" is playing in the background.

I just really love it.

I finally figured out what was off about the secret ending.

Mickey wasn't there.

Ever since the secret ending of KH1, it's been established that King Mickey is the narrator of the series. Not that he's actually the narrator, but that he has always been around for the events in the Dark Seeker saga. He appears at the end of both KH1 and KH2 Secret Endings, but he's nowhere to be found in KH3's secret ending. Instead we find another cloaked character that many have speculated is the Master of Masters.

Barring simple creative decisions like not wanting to reveal too much, this definitely shows the potential shift in the storytelling moving forward.

Until now, we have stuck to one narrative more or less: Xehanort's wish to open Kingdom Hearts and remake the universe. Since the beginning of the series, we have Mickey as the sole authority (who then accedes this authority to Yen Sid) on Keyblade lore. He takes the initiative to seek out the problems, and he is the one that guides the cast through problems.

Now, there is the Master of Masters, and we have no idea where we're headed. It's a narrative shift, and I, for one, am super excited for it.

Princess of Heart Theory

Since Kingdom Hearts 3 confirmed that you can pass on the power of Princess of Heart, I think that Queen Minnie was once a PoH. She is highly light-affiliated, with her major attack being Faith. We don't know as much about her history as we do Mickey's.

Am I crazy? Is this possible?

Anyone else just randomly start humming Destati in their day to day lives? Like, I'll be grocery shopping, and all of a sudden, the background music sounds like I'm about to fight a Darkside.
