Roxas looks at Ventus when he's bored. He can't really help it, whenever he finds himself loosing attention his gaze would draw to the boy who looks like him, yet is nothing like him.
The boy that Axel actually knew.
It's a silly thought, but his connection to him had always felt like it was the one thing that was truly his. Everything else in his life casts Sora's shadow. That's something he is slowly coming to terms with.
Xion, Namine, the other keyblade wielders, Hayner, Pence and Olette. They are all so distinctively connected to Sora, that Roxas clung himself to Axel ever since waking up again.
Maybe the only reason Axel had talked to him when he joined the organisation had been his memories, his connection to Ventus.
It doesn't bother him, Roxas reassures himself to stop staring at the boy wearing his face. He doesn't like how Ventus wears it.
