Marina's POV should have been in the first book
you'd probably have to skew with the timeline a little bit to keep it interesting. maybe have her meet Ella a lot earlier, and then we find out that she's loric at the end of the first book.
I think it would be really cool to contrast John who wants to live a quiet life and Marina who wants to escape her quiet life
I also think Marina would make a great deuteragonist and I don't think she's fully given that in the series
john and marina are essentially rebounds for eachother. i think they couldve been cute but neither is over sarah/eight.
