I adore @llaquearia’s The Roots That Clutch fic and I can’t help but think of it when listening to/playing Gravity by Vienna Teng. Especially in the latest chapter where they go out to visit a familiar-unfamiliar place.
I used to sing when I was younger but I’ve been out of practice for a long time, but I tried to get at least a little bit less rusty to record this. I think this is as good as it’s going to get without expensive voice lessons and actual recording equipment, lol. I still cringe while listening to myself, but hopefully that’s more a “we are our own worst critics” situation than actual terrible singing. I’ve accepted that I’m never NOT going to cringe and I’m never going to get my best rendition of it on camera.
I guess normal people make fanart for fics they really like, but I don’t draw, so, uh, fan-music-cover instead.
