Questions for me:

What are your favorite books?

Why do we always have to start with the hard questions?

I have read quite a number of books but I would definitely pick The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This must sound a little cliche as everybody seems to love THG ever since the hype for the movie came. But I absolutely loved the books! You do not know how much I love THG. It's like a love that overwhelms the heart, almost as if you can't handle it because it feels like your heart is going to burst, but it doesn't. Another favorite of mine would have to be The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. Another cliche, I guess. BUT HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE TFIOS? DO YOU KNOW, DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH I CRIED WHEN I READ THE NOVEL? I know that a novel is good if I want to read more of it and feel the emotions that the protagonist is feeling. I know it is good if it can move me.

Oh! And The Unbecoming Of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin.

I wish I wrote that book. I really do.

Who’s your favorite cartoon/fictional character and why?

I guess it is a prerequisite to have difficult questions. I am not aware of this law. But this is a good question! I would pick...Peeta Mellark. I loved his lines, his personality and I really loved how he wasn't a flat character. He wasn't a perfect character. He had his flaws, he was a love interest and he had a good combination of the good and bad. I chose Peeta because I think he was the very first character who made me absolutely crazy about what would happen to him. I was always worried for Peeta in the books because he's a fan favorite! And you know how authors are with fan favorites.

Who is your inspiration in life?

Um. I don't really have a specific inspiration. I just see things, hear things and they would usually spark some ideas in my head. For example, a friend of mine asked me if someone had gone through my cactus heart and that term sparked poems and stories in my head, which I'm not sure I should post because ARGH I DON'T WANT TO EMBARRASS MYSELF.

How does music affect your life?

I grew up in the great outdoors and ignored the radio most of the time. It is only at this time that music piqued my interest and made me want more. Music has become my emotional outlet. It makes me feel, it makes me realize and it makes me live and be inspired. Now that I have found out about it, I don't think I can go back.

How can I possibly express my emotions if I can't scream or sing? There is a different sense of fulfillment that you gain when you sing, when you actually utter the words. It's not the same as writing, where the words flow out of your fingertips. It is to cleanse the soul of things rather not spoken but written. But there are those times when we want to speak, when we can't be quiet and when we can't express through our own words.

I have those moments, too. I need to scream. I need to cry.

I need music.

What quote/s do you live by?

Well, I have never been a quotes kind of girl. I mean, I greatly enjoy reading quotes but I don't actually memorize them. I just take the message and move on. And I guess that's better than just memorizing the quote.

But I do live by my experiences. And I tell myself to never, ever give up, no matter what happens. I don't care if it's difficult now, it won't be difficult later. You will get through this. You can do this. And, my God, you haven't even reached your dream? DO YOU WANT TO DIE WITHOUT EXPERIENCING YOUR DREAM, WOMAN? DO YOU WANT TO BE A ZOMBIE WALKING THE EARTH?

Then I get scared and I continue on! That's what I do.

My questions:

What could make you fall in love?

You have achieved your dream. What then?

Peeta exists. He asks you, "Real or not real". You notice your hair is in a braid. What do you do? (Squealing is required.)

A disease you wished never existed. (I'm looking at you, TFIOS. I'm looking at you.)

What can you say about me? (I know, right? This isn't what you're supposed to ask! BUT WHO CARES? I CHOOSE MY QUESTIONS BWAHAHAHAHAH)

I Still Have Another Round Of Bullets

I just want to make a decent blog post, with the paragraphs and all, but I can only blog using bullets at the moment.

Agh! I miss blogging so much!

I'm just extremely busy this week. The cheering competition is coming up soon. My memories of afternoons blend into fleeting images of cheering practices.

I have to study for long tests but I have to write an article first.

It's for Tambuli and since I want to be in the club, I'm making it first priority.

That's odd, don't you think? Me making Tambuli first priority when it cannot at all affect my grades?

But it does affect my future, you know. I could be a better writer. I'm not saying I could make it a living but I do want to take Journalism as my course.

Okay. Maybe Journalism isn't my first choice. But I could get a job when I graduate.

I already listed Communication Arts as my second choice anyway.

I'm talking about K to 12 and how it can really help the country.

If I were part of the K to 12 program, I would most probably be grumpy and complain about it in the article.

BUT I cannot deny the fact that it can help millions of millions of people. Including me.

I should be talking about present issues.

And I AM. By talking about K to 12, I can bring up the low employment rate, poverty and etc. etc.

See!

Sigh. I have a feeling I'm going to screw this up. I'M SORRY IF I SUCK.

I don't know if I should feel bad that my best friend tagged me or happy that I was even tagged.

ANYWAY, ON TO THE 5 FACTS.

1.) My dreams are far too often unattainable. Unattainable in the sense that they seem unrealistic but which I believe I could achieve with just the right opportunities and determination. I CAN DO IT!

2.) Every time I have a crush on somebody, I fall hard. I'm extremely loyal. I've noticed it before (Even before Tere pointed it out to me today) that I tend to find my crush the only person who could possibly be deemed gorgeous. The others just become meh. At least I don't find everyone gorgeous and have a crush on basically everybody, right? Right? *nudge nudge*

3.) I don't expect anyone to say hi to me. I just expect them to pass by. So when somebody does say hi, I may think it's not for me but for someone else. I know some people think I'm a snob because of this but I really just don't think anyone would go all "HI SAM!"

4.) I react very slowly. If something particularly huge happens, I would most likely be calm and react internally in my head after a while. I'm just not one for extravagant reactions, you know? With all the hugs, awws, WHAT's, hanging mouths and all that. I'd do it but I'm only acting just so you won't think I'm weird. Most conversations I make sure to react 'extravagantly' so people would believe I listened to what they said (I do listen, they just might think otherwise because I don't say anything)

5.) I hate my writings with a special kind of hate. I want to burn them all. Every last bit.

Emotional Turmoil because of Fault in Our Stars

I'm in a state of post reading of Fault in our Stars.

It was such a beautiful, wonderful book. I love it so much but right now I really need a break.

I need to breathe in and breathe out.

My eyes are now insanely puffy.

And I didn't sleep yet because I wanted to finish the Fault in Our Stars.

So now my being miserable with what the book put me through and the fact that I have just finished the book has further intensified.

I cried so much. Ugly sobbing and all. I was wailing and the tears fell endlessly and I am not a girl who cries that hard. The only time I cried that hard was in Sophomore year and that was because I was being bullied.

And this is a BOOK. Not because people are shouting insults at me and pushing me around and just basically hating my very existence and guts. It's because of a book.

But I promise you, this is such a beautiful book and if you ever think that hey this girl says it made her cried an ocean, maybe I won't read it just to spare myself from such sadness then I pity you because this book is amazing.

Seriously.

This is, like, something I love. I love it so much, in fact, that if ever a fire would eat and burn my house I would most probably save Fault in Our Stars first. Wait. Okay, I'd check my family if they're alright then save Fault in Our Stars. I'm not stupid enough to put an inanimate object first than actual human lives.

THIS BOOK OH MY GOD THIS BOOK I LOVE IT SO MUCH

The lines are awesome by the way. Very awesome.

I laughed at some parts because the lines were just that funny and awesome.

SUCH A GOOD BOOK OH MY GOD I CAN'T EVEN

My eyes are being so stupid. I can't see. The puffiness of my eyes prohibit me to see, I shall someday punish you!

Argh, I'm doing it again. Kind of trying in vain to imitate the author's writing style of the book I had just recently read, though failing epically.

But I believe a writing style of a person is gained from all the writings you have ever read, kind of combined to be as one. That's why a person's prose is so unique, like a snowflake, you know. We all read different books and we all take different views of it.

IT'S A SERIOUSLY GOOD BOOK OKAY PLEASE READ IT AND WE'D CRY OVER IT TOGETHER.

Teresa, when the first day of school comes, you are seriously going to have this book in your hands and you would parade the halls with an insanely beautiful book in hands while people would drool as you pass.

Return it as it is, though, that is the policy.

I just read Teresa's message to me and... I'm getting quite panicky and maybe scared.

She told me she was assigned to write an article for the school newspaper. This surprised me because, hey, I'm part of the newspaper, too, why am I not assigned to write an article? And the school newspaper has always been practically nonexistent. The club doesn't even hold meetings and now, very suddenly, they make students write articles? When school is finished? Okay. That's nice. This hurt me a bit, though not enough that I would feel bad, really.

Teresa told me she was going to give the opportunity to write the article to me. It's about prom which by the way was cancelled so what exactly will I talk about? About how there was a poll? Am I going to talk about Sendong or..?

Or what?

I don't know. I'd just, you know, try my best and all that. I have a feeling I'm going to embarrass myself by writing this article. I already know my writing sucks. I don't want anyone else to know about it. But, hey, I'd like to do this so I'm doing this.

Right. I'd do this. Right now. Before I'd back out.
