New Au where Lloyd gets adopted

Misako didn't drop him off at Darklys and instead just left him in a random dump. It happens to be Ed and Edna's junkyard. So they take Lloyd in and raise him along with Jay who would be like 4 and so Lloyd has a loving family and stable home life👍

Lloyd knows he's adopted because Jay was old enough to remember, but he would say it like "yeah, you came from the garbage. I saw it with my own eyes!" And Misako would have left a note with his full name on it. Ed and Edna know that he is the son of Garmadon, but don't make a big deal out of it.

The two brothers would be an absolute menace to society. They would read and watch Fritz Donnegan media together. Lloyd yells at transphobes(Jay is trans masc)

Lloyd has brunette hair with a small silver streak(his Oni blood let's him make small subconscious changes and due to Ed and Edna having gray hair he thought that most people did)

ANYONE REMEMBER THESE? Probably not.

Ok, so leaks of both NInjago and SU has inspired me to bring these back.  Lemme include some headcanons too.

Lloyd (Emerald)

Half human like Steven

Father was an Emerald warrior working for Black Diamond

Becomes older later due to some time warp thing

Was raised around gems and now lives with them

Sees Misako every now and then

Weapon isn't really specific, it's kind of an energy power

Firestone (Kai)

Came from Homeworld

Served as a "blacksmith," designed weapons like Bismuth

Weapon is a literal fire sword

Protects humans, but is indifferent to them

Blue Topaz (Jay)

Came from Homeworld

Served as a technician/engineer

Weapon is electrified techy looking nunchuks

Interacts with humans a lot

Wears an eyepatch over gem usually

Really likes to fuse cause he likes feeling like a part of something greater

Onyx (Cole)

Technically a quartz, so he's earthmade

Never served for Homeworld

Weapon is double-sided scythe

Eats a lot of human food

Actually doesn't like being called Cole cause he's not coal

Becomes corrupted later, makes him "ghosty." He's ok. Maybe

Titanium Quartz (Zane)

Specially designed quartz, earthmade

Served Homeworld basically as a computer database

Weapon is only one shuriken now

Incapable of fusing now

Does not remember anything before the last 1,000 years

Due to nature of gem, eyes and gem will reflect a different color depending on the angle of light hitting it

They started calling themselves human names when Lloyd came along, choosing a name for each other.  They're basically fighting to save the earth from Black Diamond.

Junkyard Bros continued

Jay is found by Wu and was recruited to become a ninja. When he tells the family, his parents are happy that he found something he wants to do and Lloyd is just like, "not without me" and joins him on the trip to the monastery. Wu has no idea who this child Jay brought with him and just let's him stay because Lloyd just isn't leaving. Jay trains and Lloyd does too, just a little though as Jay won't let him do anything really dangerous, and things are pretty chill. Cole, Jay, and Lloyd already know each other because they went to the same school and were friends, and they are very surprised to see Cole who was supposed to be at dance school.

Things only get really good when Wu brings some rando (Kai) to the monastery. Of course the ninja will help save a citizen and set out as soon as possible to rescue Nya. Jay makes it very clear that Lloyd isn't allowed to come "you know mom'n'dad will kill me if you get hurt" but he tags along anyways, and by the time he reveals himself the others are like "well, it's too late to turn back now" so he gets to stay with them.

It starts to get messy when Garmadon is revealed to be the ringmaster and Lloyd is a little conflicted because this is his dad but also their enemy, so... in the end Garmadon gets banished to the realm of madness and Lloyd is just a bit messed up by it. But hey his big bro can now control lightning so that's fun. And for some reason everyone seems to have a little more oomph to their powers when Lloyd is around, huh wonder what that's about.🙃

Junkyard bros part 3

The Serpentine were not freed by Lloyd, Garmadon doesn't leave the realm of madness for a while longer than in cannon. The Falcon does show up to Zane and shows him the tree house, the others follow after him but are stuck outside fighting treehorns, he finds out the truth of his past and reaches his true potential. He takes out the treehorns and that's good, but no one knows what a true potential is and start freaking out about why was Zane floating and how did he summon ice without his golden weapons and oh by the way he's not human, so they return to the monastery and ask Wu who comforts them by explaining that Zane is not dying he has simply reached his true potential. The others now really want to be able to use their powers without their weapons, but they can't (yet) and just keep trying.

They go to a museum due to a break in and while there Misako shows up and recognizes Lloyd, she introduces herself as his mother but she ain't, Edna is, so Lloyd is confused and storms off when she clarifies that she is his "real mom" and sulks until Jay comes to comfort him, it works but he still feels a little down and is not on the mood for Misako's nonsense. She reveals that he is the fabled Green Ninja and berates Wu for not realizing, none of the ninja heard of the prophecy before this so there's no "who will be the Green Ninja", Wu insists on Lloyd training and the brothers agree they tell their parents, who are proud, but also worried sick as usual.
