ANYONE REMEMBER THESE? Probably not.

Ok, so leaks of both NInjago and SU has inspired me to bring these back.  Lemme include some headcanons too.

Lloyd (Emerald)

Half human like Steven

Father was an Emerald warrior working for Black Diamond

Becomes older later due to some time warp thing

Was raised around gems and now lives with them

Sees Misako every now and then

Weapon isn't really specific, it's kind of an energy power

Firestone (Kai)

Came from Homeworld

Served as a "blacksmith," designed weapons like Bismuth

Weapon is a literal fire sword

Protects humans, but is indifferent to them

Blue Topaz (Jay)

Came from Homeworld

Served as a technician/engineer

Weapon is electrified techy looking nunchuks

Interacts with humans a lot

Wears an eyepatch over gem usually

Really likes to fuse cause he likes feeling like a part of something greater

Onyx (Cole)

Technically a quartz, so he's earthmade

Never served for Homeworld

Weapon is double-sided scythe

Eats a lot of human food

Actually doesn't like being called Cole cause he's not coal

Becomes corrupted later, makes him "ghosty." He's ok. Maybe

Titanium Quartz (Zane)

Specially designed quartz, earthmade

Served Homeworld basically as a computer database

Weapon is only one shuriken now

Incapable of fusing now

Does not remember anything before the last 1,000 years

Due to nature of gem, eyes and gem will reflect a different color depending on the angle of light hitting it

They started calling themselves human names when Lloyd came along, choosing a name for each other.  They're basically fighting to save the earth from Black Diamond.

Jay likes fusing cause he feels like he's powerful and part of something great.  He doesn't fuse very often though, so he's sad.   Bonus couple of things in this picture.  Serpentine and similar monsters are just corrupted gems.   Also, the ninja usually refer to the others as their gem names out of habit, but try to use the human names as much as possible around Lloyd, like how parents call each other mom and dad around kids.  Jay tried to get the nickname BT (Blue Topaz) picked up, but the only one who really uses it is Lloyd.

There's obviously more fusions than this, but these are the ones that I've designed so far.

Kai + Lloyd= Tourmaline

Toll

Weapon becomes energy sword

Taunts people a LOT

Brave to a fault

Relatively stable fusion

Cole + Jay = Chacedony Agate

Big

Weapon becomes nunchuk-scythes

Smart and strong, but acts kind of like Sugilite

Ready to smash faces

Stable fusion

Zane, unfortunately, can't fuse anymore.  Makes him feel left out, useless, and overall different.

Mahogany Obsidian (Kai+Cole)

BASICALLY SARDONYX

Weapon becomes harpoon looking thing

Acts fancy but will pound the ground with his face

Unstable

Azurite-Malachite (Jay+Lloyd)

REally big nerd

Weapon is nunchucks held together by energy powah

really dorky, doesn't take anything seriously

Relatively stable

Moonstone (Zane+Jay)

Smart and elegant

Weapon is some sort of spinning shuriken on the ends of a chain, like a big double spike yo-yo

Incapable of existing anymore
