Destan woke up alone and terrified. She didn’t know where she was or what was going on, but only one thing sent her into a panic. “Sully? Sully!” Destan’s voice rang out loudly, carried around by her magic in an unconscious attempt to make the noise reach her friend. She remembered walking home with him after closing the veterinary clinic, but anything after that was hard to recall. Her head hurt terribly and there was something warm trickling down her face, two things that should hint towards what had happened, yet the witch only had one goal as she picked herself off of the ground. “Sullivan!” She screamed louder, wisps of raw magic leaving her body as her desperation made her unable to keep her powers in check. She couldn’t see, she was alone, and she had no idea where she was.

Following the quake that shook through Lackluster on November 3rd, Vulpecula Members have worked tirelessly on regaining their radio signals enough to obtain bits and pieces of headlines from the world above. Lackluster’s News Broadcasts have commenced throughout the city’s speaker system. Some expect the headlines they hear now, others are terrified by what it might mean for Lackluster.

At 12:56 am on November 3rd, an 8.0 earthquake was registered along the Canadian Fault Line just five miles north of Niagara Ontario, and is believed to have been the cause of a breach at the Niagara Falls Dam. No news has been obtained to clearly assess the extent of damages caused by that breach.

On November 5th, a strike was made against a major American city. Chicago was hit with multiple, thought to be seven, nuclear weapons. While smaller in size and clearly easily acquired, the overlapping shock-waves of the ground-burst proved catastrophic for the vast of the Chicago Metropolitan. A state of emergency and evacuations have been issued for the entire state of Illinois.
