Today was indeed perfect.

You had woken up, the sun smiling down on you through the half-blinded window, a nice breeze flowing through and making everything at peace.

Today was April 1st, a new month and a new season. Spring is indeed going to be very lovely.

Getting up and stretching, you walk into the kitchen, noticing how Spinel sat on the couch with a cartoon playing on the TV.

"Morning Spins!"

She turns to look at you with an all too happy smile. "Morning! Watcha doing?"

You stare at her for a second before turning around, bending down to grab a pan from the cabinet. "Well, to start off April, I was thinking that we could have a nice big breakfas- Ow!"

Then you felt it.

A sharp stinging pain on your behind.

You snap around to look at Spinel, her face was flushed lightly, a large smile on her face as she tried to hold back laughter.

"Spinel.....did you just, slap my ass?"

She snorts, a hand going up to rub the back of her neck. "Hahaha....April Fools?"
