CW: obligatory warning for discussion of traumatic medical injuries, no images or graphic descriptions.
Discussing Macaque's facial scar, the types of injuries he likely would have sustained to cause it, and the side effects/complications from a lack of proper medical treatment.

Any thoughts on this theory?
It's a fun theory, but I don't think it will come to fruition
I saw someone else also analyse the whole "Harbinger" thing and... I agree with them. They pointed out how MK is VERY well aware of how dangerous that form is, to the point he's terrified of it. The arc he has with his form has to do with accepting it and making his decisions with it instead of just going nuclear.
I also genuienly don't think he's existed in the past cycles. Everything is just too new, bits of Heaven seem to be missing or suddenly unimportant, and Nüwa never outright included MK with the reincarnation of souls. He was made to be a sacrifice, not a person, and therefore I doubt he was going to appear in the next cycle.
So yeah, I personally don't believe MK's gonna become the next villain or a monster. His personality literally revolves around forgiveness through action over words (Macaque, DBK, etc. becoming his friends once they started working alongside him instead of against him even without any verbal apologies). MK sees the good in people, acts against them if they betray that trust, and still has a big enough heart to forgive them if they learn to redeem themselves through actions. It doesn't match up with just going volatile.
It feels like if someone showed me Gunn's Superman, the same hero who saves squirrels because of how much he loves the world, and said "Yeah, this guy's gonna go crazy and pull a Homelander".
But ayyyy what do I know ╮(︶▽︶)╭
Y'know, I really like the theory/headcanon that LMk takes place after two decades after an end of a great war...
It just makes so much sense. and could explain alot of things too!
From Sandy's Ptsd & Pigsy attitude and rationalty to Mk's special conditions!
How no one questioned Why Mk has no Family history, how there was no missing poster looking for Him, How no one manged to track his origins from his genatics data and birth place alone!!!
It just fascinates me alot! And it could have alot of pre main story events (psychological complexity) fanfiction potential for the main five!!
Mk, Pigsy, Sandy, Tang and even possibly Mei!!
Does anybody else think about the possibility that Wukong also erased Macaque's name from the book of life and death and the repercussions that had when Macaque died?
Just me? Okay
The mk jade emperor theory is stupid and adds bugged to mk,really s5 already got a lot of plot points for mk character, the jade emperor mk will add nothing.
Peaches to them are just mangoes to me holy shit.
In the past they shared peaches (not the same peach, but still sharing)
In the mountain Macaque crushed and threw the peach onto the ground as if representing the end of a shared bond/close relationship
AND AT THE BEACH WUKONG OFFERED HIM THE PEACH ICE-CREAM AS A PEACE TREATY/OFFERING OF TRUST
MACAQUE ACCEPTED IT TOO
AND THEN HE STARED AT IT, KNOWING ITS WORTH BETWEEN THE TWO.
AND SMALL DETAIL, IT WAS ALREADY MELTED A BIT. SO LIKELY WUKONG WAS GOING TO EAT IT/HAS ALREADY LICKED IT, BECAUSE REMINDER
NO ONE KNEW MACAQUE WAS COMING.
HE WASN'T INVITED. SO HE AND WUKONG LITERALLY JUST SHARED AN INDIVIDUAL PEACH. AND I DO BELIEVE SOMEWHERE DEEP IN THE BOOKS OF MANNERISMS, THAT SIGNIFIES SECRECY OF GAY RELATIONS.
But of course this is all a theory, a heavily backed theory, but still just a theory
I don’t think age in LMK works like people think it does. I’ve heard a lot of “in China you can only drive when you are 18, so clearly these characters are 18+” without factoring in that when Redson was 18 in human years, he was a baby. Age is much more complicated and there is no better example than Mei and Redson. I believe that depending on different factors such as species, individuals can have unique mental and physical growth rates.
Mei is a dragon, most likely young for her species. Maybe she’s mixed with something else, maybe the samadi fire has shortened the lifespan of her family’s bloodline, maybe something else is going on. All we can say for sure is that her 1000x great grandfather is Ao Lie, and her 1000x great uncle Ao Guang was last seen alive season 2, episode 3 Grand Dragon of the East.
She is shorter than every other member of her family in the modern era (I’m not accounting for Ao Lie in the scroll, he might of been still growing.). I don’t know how LMK dragons age, but it is odd that Ao Lie already has several decendants considering dragons are supposed to live a long life. Which might be evidence that it’s been a really really really long time since then.
Mei is also around the same height as the assistant, who is also shorter than her 1000x great uncle. We could contribute his long life to being a dragon, or the possibillity of being immortal. Regardless, over 1000x of dragon ancestery is a long stretch of time.
I think Mei is mentally around the same age as Redson and MK, but is physically still growing. Dragons might even just keep growing past adulthood, so I’m not gonna say she’s a kid. This is evidence that she is a young dragon though. Maybe physically the youngest of the trio. Someday though, she’s going to be taller than Redson and MK, which is going to be fun.
Redson is very obviously the oldest according to human years. He was a baby when Ao Lie participated in the ritual to seal away the samadi fire. He is over 500 years, because his dad was sealed under the mountain for that long, with a few hundred more to add on. Given that Ao Lie is Mei’s 1000x great grandfather, that is several hundred years worth of dragon lifespans coming and going. Making Redson very very very old.
We know he’s around the same level of maturity as MK and Mei. Aside from his mental and human age number, finding his physical age is a lot harder. He is around the same height as his mother, and is much much much shorter than his father. His parents are also immortal, which might contribute to his slow growth rate. Redson is not immortal himself, given that he was desperate to win the immortal peach in season 1.
I’m going to say he takes after his mother more in terms of growth. Making him clearly an adult. It would be really weird if he spent all that time growing and wasn’t an adult yet anyway. Thats too many dragon births and possible deaths to live through.
I’m gonna throw in MK for the heck of it. He’s easy. He’s a stone monkey and he’s clearly as tall as Wukong, the only other known stone monkey. I don’t know if Wukong was ever a child. He’s almost always depicted in the show as an adult when he pops out of his rock. Then again, he’s also mostly depicted as clothed coming out of the rock. Maybe he didn’t want the world making embarrassing baby pictures of him lol. MK was a baby, so why couldn’t Wukong also be a baby?
Or was MK never a baby monkey, he was just changed into a baby human??? Idk man. There’s so many mysteries regarding those two.
