launching: birthday ad reblog contest

yep, yep, it’s that time again... lms’s birthday, of course!  to celebrate, we’ve got a new birthday themed ad to use for an ad reblog contest. the directions are easy:

reblog this ad as many times as you want. it could be 2, it could be 200. up to you. just make sure it’s that post so we can keep track of the notes and who does what.

each reblog and/or like counts as an entry.

Patrick Harrington Jr. as Max Goof (A Goofy Movie, 1995) 

Just like the loveable and insecure teenager Max, Patrick is insecure and wants something new with his life. He dreams of being something new, someone new, a rockstar. Before he moved to Avalon he was tired of being the Patrick Harrington that everyone thought they knew and he wanted to be the guy that he knew he could be. He’s dreamed of being a rockstar since he can remember, dreamed of getting out of his life, and proving everyone wrong. While Max and Pat differ in their relationship with their fathers, both have father-issues and both don’t want to follow in their father’s footsteps. Max’s father is clumsy, embarrassing, and a goof; while Pat’s father is quite the opposite, a strong and powerful man who has recently landed himself a Prison sentence for embezzlement. Pat has always wanted to make his father proud where Max is embarrassed by his father (of course this changes as Pat’s relationship with his father will also change).  Both Max and Pat also have a confidence on stage that only comes out there. Patrick often is quite worried about performing just before a show but as soon as he is on that stage and he looks down in the crowd his confidence skyrockets, just as Max’s does at the school assembly. There is also a very important girl involved. Where Max wants to impress the most beautiful girl in school, Pat also wants to do this (of course that was back when he and Rebecca were going to school together). Both guys get the girl in the end. Both are extremely goofy.

lmsrp disney character contest: Lorelei Osmond as Lady (Lady and the Tramp, 1955)

Sweet, kind, naive, romantic, motherly, polite, ladylike, caring, compassionate, responsible

Lady is a pampered pooch with little knowledge of the rest of the world making her naive and susceptible to influences. She’s a sweetheart with a sense of where her responsibilities and loyalties lay, and a motherly nature tucked away with a sense of romance. While Lori is far more cautious now as an adult, as a child she was a very caring and naive girl who wanted everyone to like her and believed that the world was infinitely good. She still likes to believe that there is good in the world and that people have it within them to be kind to others, however she’s hesitant to trust others after what she went through as a teenager and young adult. Despite her hesitance, Lori is a compassionate and caring woman who loves her two daughters deeply and has found her inner romantic awakened by the introduction of her husband, Shawn, into her life.

@lmsrp disney character contest: Spencer Austin as Nani Pelekai (Lilo & Stitch, 2002)

Feisty, devoted, caring, loving, stressful, crafty, mischievous,hardworking 

Coming off as having a rough and tough exterior with an almost uncaring attitude, Nani behaves in such a way in order to protect her tender feelings and to work through the stress that she’s feeling as being the sole caregiver and provider for her younger sister. She works hard for what she has, showing a level of care and devotion to the people that she holds close. Spencer adopted a mask of extreme toughness when she was younger as an attempt to keep her heart safe from being hurt and has struggled with trying to let that mask slip now and then with the people that she cares about. She’s one feisty young woman with a determined work ethic and deep sense of loyalty to other people.
