absolutely disgusted at people right now who are like “taylor’s songs Better Than Revenge and You Belong With Me are slut-shaming songs!! what’s wrong about a woman having a lot of sex or that she wears high heels!!” as a movement on the I Hate Taylor Swift Therefore I’m So Woke and Cool and Also I Was Never Ignorant Since 1852 ™ train, as if the society around the time those songs were written were not slut-shaming anyone at all, it is exactly the situation back then with the society: women who have sex a lot and wear sexy clothes are deemed sluts, and she didn’t know any better, like you and i didn’t know any better, that we were stupid and naive too. also, an amount of people in the society still slut-shames until today, so let me ask you, what the actual lucifer’s crap are you on about

taylor’s loudness about her relationship with adam, for me, is only because she confidently feels that he isn’t like the rest of the guys who wouldn’t want people to know it’s miss swift they’re dating, and that she knows he won’t give a fuck about what people say, and that he is very nice to her, and when they’re together, being miles away from each other isn’t gonna cause the other person to fall out of love or get bored or start hooking up with another person (which she experienced a lot of times before). i seriously think she’s so public about it because they’re confident about each other. and for some people to think it’s just a pr stunt to boost sales or whatever, i don’t really know.. you do you. but it’s not like any of them needed any boosts anyway they’re both really successful and well-known

taylor i love you but although the mv means the world to some of us it’s also just the same thing we saw in the tour movie and to think that some people go to great lengths and pay just to see the 4 minute clip which spins the same thing and pretty much the exact same audio of you talking on the tour movie makes me kinda sad T :(
