Shh, I know Hiddleswift is over but let me walk down memory lane and remember some funny shit

The fact literally just one month or so before they came out, both the fandoms were going “There’s nothing going on between them!! They’re just dancing ugh” and then BOOM

People In Denial versus Shippers: “they were seen together they may be dating” “YO THEY’RE LITERALLY MAKING OUT AT THE BEACH”

Their friends playing coy about the entire thing but Ed with his 0 fucks just goes “yep they’re together” and when people said he ‘spilled the beans’, he was like “... I’m pretty sure it was obvious”

People saying that it was too sudden and others saying “IF TAYLOR SWIFT OR TOM HIDDLESTON WANTED TO MAKE OUT WITH YOU ON A BEACH YOU WOULDN’T ASK FOR THEM TO WAIT UNTIL THE INTERNET WAS READY”

My favourite were the Hiddlestoners that weren’t even sure if they liked Taylor or the relationship but were like “GET IT GIRL” because someone might as well

The fact that the relationship came after Tayvin and we were used to getting candids like every other month but Hiddleswift came after us every other fucking day and it left people on edge, like people legit didn’t want to sleep so they wouldn’t miss anything

When people said that Taylor was using Tom but those same people also said Tom was too smart for Taylor??? YOU CAN’T PICK BOTH

THE FANDOMS MEET SECTION

When Hiddlestoners were actually friendly with Swifties and we just??? didn’t know how to handle it??? We were so relieved??? We were actually being welcomed???

When Swifties expressed how happy they are that this was happening, and some toxic would inevitably go “A LOT OF US STILL HATE YOU” but Swifties were paired with the 1D fandom before so...

When Swifties were too used to Taylor rarely repeating an outfit that whenever they tried to gauge when a picture was taken based on Tom’s outfit it was always a disaster

Example: “Well he’s wearing this same shirt in this picture as he is in this picture, so they must be taken on the same day!” to which a hiddleston fan would usually reply “that picture could be from 2012 and he would still be wearing the same fucking shirt”

When Tom Hiddleston wore like 4 outfits in one day at Taylor’s July 4th party and Hiddlestoners were like “IS THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENING”

When they were travelling, and eyewitness accounts at national monuments had people saying they were just chilling and turned around to find Hiddleswift just casually queuing behind them

When it became a #confirmed fact that Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston play footsies during meals

When Cara Delevingne told the story about the prank and said that she first told both Taylor and Tom, effectively grouping them together as a unit

EVEN THE PEOPLE WHO WERE PRANKED WENT TO TOM AND TAYLOR FIRST. IT WAS A HOUSE FULL OF PEOPLE

Why are there Tom Hiddlest+n fans that are so mad that taylor hasn't spoken about him? Like, other than the fact that she usually refuses to talk about this stuff, she hasn't been seen in a MONTH. He's promoting his movie. Of course reporters are gonna get more chances to ask him instead of her. Being upset about it is one thing, but it's weird when people act like Taylor is being a complete icy bitch by saying that "her silence is annoying when Tom has said nothing but nice things about her!" which sounds like she's slinging shit at him when she's not. She's keeping to a break that she'd planned before she even met him. Also when people go "ofc she's going to talk about it when album release comes 😒" ???? Of course??? Not only is that the time when people will ask about the inspiration behind the songs, but that's when Taylor will be most exposed to reporters in GENERAL. It's kind of like, oh I dont know, how Tom is being asked about Taylor a lot right now. It's legit the same.
