Here's another sneak peak of our comic in the new Ladies' Night Anthology, Sisters! This comic has been a whole twin team effort. We were teamed up with twin writers, Shawnee & Shawnelle Gibbs, who wrote a wonderful Western story about twins and their amazing grandma! Jessie and Bessie are actually inspired by their grandma, Jessie, and her twin, Bessie. Abby Shaffer Artist, Letterer

Abby Shaffer is a freelance artist and graphic designer living in Baltimore. She's a recent graduate of the University of Baltimore's creative writing and Publishing Arts MFA program.

Rachel Halpern Writer

Rachel Halpern makes kids' books by day and writes spec fic by night. Her prose has appeared in Daily Science Fiction and Beneath Ceaseless Skies, but she's new to this whole comics thing. She likes cephalopods, semicolons, and sci-fi/fantasy stories.

Kris Mackenzie Editor

Kris Mackenzie is a Chicago-based writer and cartoonist. Her prose has appeared in Hair Trigger vols. 35 thru 37 and was nationally recognized in Plain China. In her day job she's a project manager for a financial wellness startup. Ask her about your credit score.

Jade Armstrong Artist, Letterer

Jade is an animation student hailing from Almonte, ON! She is currently working as a background painter and is the artist for the webtoon Crutch. Being the middle child of two sisters taught her valuable skills like how to fight two people at once over the last bowl of corn pops.

Ellen Linzer Writer

Ellen took way too long trying to write a clever bio and decided to just ask you to look up characteristics of a Taurus because that'd be the best description of them.

Caitlin Rosberg Editor

Caitlin is a writing, knitting, tea drinking machine with all requisite robotic enhancements. She's the treasurer for LNA and on the board of Chicago Nerd Social Club. She's an Eisner Award–winning writer on the A.V. Club's Comics Panel and Paste Magazine's Required Reading.
