But it's enough light for Ichika. It's enough to see the disquiet bowing Shiho's shoulders, it's enough for shadow to huddle in the furrows of her brow, her tightly interlaced fingers, it's enough for Ichika to grasp there's been a weight haunting Shiho, an albatross around her neck, for only-she'd-known how long.

Anything is too long in Ichika's mind. She has to know, to be able to curve her fingers around the onus between them and begin to relieve Shiho of its gravity.’

She is not expecting Ichika's plea to call her when she can.
