ok so i do like hades colors here but minthe really doesnt fit with the artstyle going on right now

2. i really like how like this episode starts out minthe as being a "goldigger" who only cares about shallow things but as we see more about her and learn more we learn that is basically the opposite? ALSO what minthes doing here (even i fhtye were in the msot committed relationship ever or soemthing) isnt that bad? and it doesnt give hades an excuse to make eys at persephone, as we learn more we find out how minthe is a VICTIM (not excusing her CHARACTER ASSINATION actions, because ik sm will say that)

3. im really in interested on how being "shallow and fake" is treated in LO, like "all the fine suits in the world wont change the fact he smells like death" but does he have anything other then being rich? what else is good in his personality for someone to like him? and his smell, well thats something that will always be with him, its a sacrifice he made when he became the king of UW. and minthes being treated like a shallow bitch here (BUT WE KNOW THAT SHE DOES CARE FOR HIM) im so interested in their relationship. but like why is minthe interested in hades? also back to the topic of wealth and shallowness, like its presented that minthe and hades had this "sugar baby sugar daddy" relationship and hades blurred the lines somehow? just thoughts?

ok so ik someone on the last post mentioned that it was ooc for Artemis to own that dress? but given her characterization in these first few chapters not really?? like shes clearly parelled to Persephone as the cool party girl to Persephone naïve village girl

i really like how Persephone looks like a doll she actually look sooo cute

i really like seeing Olympus be super dramatic wild parties shit like that, and i wish the whole story had more of these? like plz i want more dramatic parties and soap opera shit and paparazzi magazines and rich celeb ppl problems that all sound sooo much more interesting then whatever we have rn

more reference to alcoholic hades, tbh i wish that was more explored, but all of hades trauma seem to be pretty tied together? like he drank alcohol and it reminded him of kronos?

i find it really interesting (and creepy) that hades is attracted to Persephone when shes very clearly upset? like the romantic of me thinks. oh hades is attracted to melancholy and tragic beauty as the king of the underworld how romantic ! ! ! but the cynic of me thinks. oh this creepy guy wants to take advantage of women so he looks for them when they at their lowest, what a creep ! ! !

also the more i notice its just that, hades is so much of a main character then Persephone, like literally all of my thoughts her were about hades like,, it just def feels like hes the mc

theres just something about the way hades and his brothers talk about minthe (and maybe the other women hes been with) but idk the word for it its just so ugh,,,

LO Chapter 5 Reread

-"persephone you've really outdone yourself this time" ????

-was persephone a troublemaker at home or sm? i am actually so confused about persephones childhood, like one second shes her mamas obedient show pony girl and then the next she always disobeys her mom and breaks her rules??

-her childhood changes more often then her characterization

-the colors r sooooo pretty here -how does she know its 9 am???

-ok ik that Persephone just says "hows it so dark outside??" but if i could interpret it further like, is she saying its beautiful?

-tbh i think that in the later chapters they could've really explored Persephone's relationship with the underworld, and how she really admires and thinks its so beautiful as a whole

- WHAT ARE ATERMIS AND PERSEPHONE TALKIGN ABOUT??? i wish we could actually see their convo bc we barely see them interacting. i dont rlly like Artemis tho so i dont care that much

-why does Artemis hate hades? my optimistic side thinks "oh hades has a bad reputation because ruler of dead blah blah blah" but like... everyone hates him?? tbh at this point it just feelings like a hades thing.

-also that kinda makes me think of the Olympus relationship with UW, like are gods scared of UW and look down because they dont know death and death is scary?? and wow im really making up meta for LO, bc ik she didnt think of any of this while constructing the story but whatevss

-Poseidon actually seems a lot less silly?? in the earlier chapters, hes a darker shade and in the later chapters his scar just disappears.. i always how greek myth retellings ignore Poseidon its so annoying
