#loading issues

I have a lil question that idk if you can me but my game wont load its saying something is missing or something is broken what do I do?

Hello @itsjustlulusims​! Aw, man. I’m sorry that your’re having trouble with your game not loading. I’m more than happy to help you out the best I can! 😎

I put the info under the cut because I tend to write an essay sometimes. Sorry! XD

  So, when did this issue began to occur? Do you use any mods and have recently updated your game to the latest patch? Sometimes, mods (and even CC items) tend to become broken by patch updates and can cause all kinds of uncool issues with your game. If you do use any mods, I strongly recommend to check the modder’s website to make sure that the mod has been updated or that the modder has mentioned that their mod may be affected by the patch. I would also do the same for CC as well. 

  If you haven’t already, try taking out your Mods folder and temporarily moving it to your desktop and then try starting up the game and see what happens. If your game loads with no problem, more than likely you encountered a mod/cc-related issue. I would gradually add in a couple of mods/cc each time I start up my game to find the mod or cc that’s causing the loading issue. The more mods and CC you have, the longer it may take, but it is like a sure-fire way to find that problem mod eventually. I would strongly recommend trying the 50/50 method on find that mod. Here’s a really cool tutorial on how to do to that. I tell you: It is a lifesaver for me!

  If you’re still having trouble with loading your game, I would recommend going into Origin and repairing your game. Origin ‘re-installs’ your game files as if your installing your game for the first time. Kreatora, here, explains how to Repair your game via Origin. I would strongly recommend backing up your Saves and Tray folders to the desktop just in case. Oh yeah, also remove your mods folder before you Repair your game as well.
