The difference in how the Crawlers have been settling into Chima in my soulmate AU is hilarious.

Scorm and the Scorpions are living in the Rhino Canyons and Scorm is learning about things like "microaggressions". Braptor and his Bats live with the Ravens and are dealing with people who have figured that they can do whatever they want to the Bats without repercussions.

And then Spinlyn's over here getting into a chaotic relationship with Crooler that would be toxic if it were anyone else but these two, but instead they somehow wrap back around to being incredibly healthy, AND they already have four daughters as of the start of my Hunting fanfic. Incredible, honestly. The lesbians keep winning.

I'm working on Hunting (at least, when my squirrel brain will let me) and I got back to my favorite scene so far, which is the one where Scorm is meeting Spinlyn and Crooler's daughters for the first time.

This man Scorpion wants to be a dad so bad it makes him look stupid.
