Local drunk/shoplifter
I also had to tell the local drunk to leave twice, my patience is gone with him, he’s always drunk and a known shoplifter, and he has gotten violent before. He also harasses customers and begs, which we can’t allow (plus he’ll probably spend it on drugs, like I said he’s known to us for a reason)
First time as I was coming back from my break by my car I was talking to a colleague and we noticed him bothering customers, he got money from them then wandered to the petrol station, part of the store but at the other end of the car park, and I knew the lady there was alone and timid, the guy with her for the night was in the store, so I went over while my colleague went to inform security, said his name as he walked in, and he stopped, I walked in front of him and said about 10 times “go away”. He claimed not to realise it was part of the store, a blatant lie as he’s been kicked out of there too many times. I was harsh and he eventually left.
about half hour later I'm in the store doing put backs, when a call-out for me is put out, when I got there I was told he was outside the store, I found him wandering around the car park again, security was ready to stop him coming in but I was fed up with him, I went out and told him to leave.
“it’s just the car park”
I said “I don’t care go away, it’s still store property now leave.”
he kept going on “where does it end then?”
“at the ramp” he started walking away “go down it, and don’t come back up”
He turned around and started his regular speech of I know I've fucked up but... and I cut him off saying “I don’t care go away”
You might think that's cruel but I've heard it dozens of times, I wish I was exaggerating, about how he’s trying to change, his shoplifting and drug days are behind him, how he’s on some register (either sex offenders or peado I didn’t hear properly which). But he’s not trying, he’s always drunk and still shoplifts.
After this point he threatened me, saying we should take it round the corner, not that he could fight the state he’s in, I just said no go away and walked inside as the security guard stepped in telling him to go away, and I hung around until I knew he was gone.
