Whilst it’s annoying, you shouldn’t rule out change just because someone in a company said many years (or months) ago that they wouldn’t do it. Companies change directions, do what they feel they need to do to better survive and change as their staff change. 

I hate the recent changes, GP changes really annoys me. I hate not knowing if a horse is a Foundation or not. What I hate more though, is everyone whining that Howrse changed their minds, bringing up the ‘You promised us and now you’re going back on your word!” argument. Protest all you want with valid arguments. Companies change. You don’t need to change with them. 

It’s silly. A company changes over time. One thing may have not been needed, and wasn’t predicted to be needed, but later thought to be needed. You shouldn’t hold a company to what it’s said in the past, in regards to the present, especially game companies. Things change, opinions change, Companies change.
