It's coming into winter and the darker nights present a risk to the every day commuter. Our markers are not just designed for military and tactical situations. They can allow you to be seen no matter how you travel. Some, even reflect light back to vehicle lights adding to your personal safety.
They can hang off of your gear or Velcro on any part of it.

An idea in the making:
I had been talking to a very good friend by email who makes items from glow in the dark material. I mentioned about an idea for a new product to help with location marking or to indicate DoT (Direction of Travel) or if underwater to point to where people needed to go on the underwater tethers.
We had talked about the idea along with some testing and the idea seemed to come together nicely. Above is one of the prototypes made from G10 merely as a working sample. These simple little markers will eventually be made of glow in the dark material and are made to point a direction or item location. During the day they will charge up and at night can point to the direction you have travelled, or be added to guidelines on a basha, tent or hammock.
There's nothing complicated to make them fit, the cord is pushed into one end in the slot, then twisted and it drops into the other end locking it in place. No clips, screws, adhesive or anything else, the tension of the cord holds them in place tightly. Even the simple wire border style fences can hold them in place with little to no effort.
They are easily removed and reused over and over again!
Hopefully we will get the designs finalised and some final prototypes made to show you very soon. Any thoughts or comment please feel free to reblog and share them.
